I’m bored. Very bored, so I’ve decided to come up with a brand new challenge. Here are the rules.
Rules
1. You CAN use the Zheng Letter trick. (additional rules down further)
2. You CAN use the 64-items trick to get generals that you usually can’t get.
3. You CAN use generals that you cannot put in billeting, but they can ONLY be tacticians *They can’t fight too unless it’s part of the storyline*. (Jiang Wei and Zhuge Liang fall into this category)
4. You CANNOT use Game Genie codes to level up and gain money quickly.
5. You MUST fight all battles. (No skipping battles that you don’t have to fight)
6. You CAN use the Tally Order (though I’d prefer that you didn’t :P)
If you can come up with more rules, lemme know. It’s just that I’m very curious about whether or not a party whose soldiers don’t go up every level can beat Sima Yi :P

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingI figure this is something that could rejuvenate interest in the original DoaE2 :P
I’ve reached many an impasse in the mods, so I wanted to go back to this one. BTW, Liu Zhang was only in that party because I couldn’t think of any other notable generals ;)
Also, until you reach the first billeting place, you can play the game normally, but make sure you save the Zheng Letter, because you’re going to be using it :P

The 64 items trick CAN be used to get Cao Cao. It CANNOT be used to get Sima Yi.

They see me throwin' fireballs out of my sword, they runnin'.Not really. I’ve noticed that no matter how strong you are, you don’t do a lot of damage against Sima Yi.

They see me throwin' fireballs out of my sword, they runnin'.I did quite a bit of damage against him with a level 79 party. I think set characters are programmed to be weaker then the ones of your party.
You have to remember, though; the very thing that makes you a nerd is that your enthusiasms are totally unrelatable and non-marketable to most of the world. For example, anime and celibacy. - Seanbaby
You guys didn’t play it honest like I am :P
I expect to be at around level 48-53 before I battle Sima Yi. Plus, I probably won’t try for Cao Cao. I’m gonna limit myself to non-Cao Cao good generals. Xiahou Yuan, Zhang Ren, and maybe Zhang Liao.
