All I did was finish up the cycle on 12/31/09. I heard that you had to kill the Reaper and got bummed at first. Although when i started my new cycle I saw that Monad was indeed accessible.
Are you sure? We’re talking about Persona 3 FES not Persona 3 right? I was in the middle of January checking to see if Monad would appear (once I reached the top of Tartarus) but it did not, until I defeated The Reaper.
Maybe there is somethin else that triggers it if you accessed it without defeating The Reaper…

Glad to be here. I am sure it is FES ^_^. I’ll try to look into why it got unlocked for me. Like I said I did not even reach the top of Tartarus or fight the Reaper. This is an anomaly.

Yea its easier to go through than I thought from what everyone else was saying. The plot gets interesting near the end. I didn’t one shot the S Links on my first run through The Journey either so I gotta finish that up too.
Well I just finished "The Answer" earlier today. Time to start my second cycle of "The Journey."
The sad thing was that I had my lvl 3 and 4 Junpei and Yukari run through Monad to the 10th floor.
What a coincidence, I just now finished "The Journey" (2nd time, first was with the original).
Now more than ever I know Persona 3 is my favorite game on the PS2. It may actually be my favorite game ever. It’s damn good, in any case.
Should’ve spent more time leveling, though. The final battle probably took two hours.

Um did I read that right? How are Junpei / Yukari so low leveled?

Yea level 71 or whatever seemed pretty low. Even at level 99 that last form of Nyx took a while to take down.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingStarted a new cycle so all my other characters went back to their original levels when they joined the party. (I really should be clearer with my choice of words >.<)
I just beat the Answer. The end sequence of events seems kind of long, but it’s a refreshing bit having done hours straight of grinding and other dungeon crawling stuff.
Overall, it was a nice addition. Boss fights were difficult at times, especially the later ones in the Desert of Doors and some of the later fights.
After playing all this FES though I’m ready to take a break and spend some time with DoaE huohu huohu huohu
