ParticipantLooks like the Lord is starting a FFX walkthrough, so I’ll just add this thread. Post any FFX related stuff here.

ParticipantTitus is a sissy.
You have to remember, though; the very thing that makes you a nerd is that your enthusiasms are totally unrelatable and non-marketable to most of the world. For example, anime and celibacy. - Seanbaby

ModeratorTitus is a sissy, and probably the main reason why I never got into this game.
He’s such a sissy he’s almost an unbelievable character.
The more I see of the game, the more Jecht seems like Maddox.

Keymasterhaha Titus eh. Yeah I’m not the biggest fan of this game especially the story but it’s number 4 on Gamefaqs and is still a popular search for some reason…basically I’m doing it to hold me over until I get Rogue Galaxy or something new.
The turn based battle system on here seems so ancient at this point, but for some reason the graphics still seem relatively good?
Who’s Maddox by the way?

ParticipantWould you prefer playing as an emotionless wall like Squall (for most of that game, at least)?
The only Maddox I know of is this friendly fellow…

ParticipantTidus: Just keep using his Overdrives to get new ones.
Auron: After you kill Spherimorph in Macalania Forest, there will be Spheres scattered around Spira that you have to pick up to unlock more Overdrives.
Wakka: Win new Overdrives from the Blitzball tournaments.
Kimahri: Use Lancet on enemies to learn new stuff.
Lulu, Yuna, and Rikku always have the same Overdrives.

Keymasterah thank you, I guess I could have figured most of those out…I was mainly having trouble remembering how to get Tidus’ and Auron’s but now I know, thank you…about to fight sin at the mushroom rock road currently
how do i do lulu’s overdrive though? I tried spinning the joystick left and then right and the bar didnt go up…i use the left one (l3) right?
edit – i think youre wrong about tidus because i just gained his next overdrive just by killing an enemy with a regular attack…

ParticipantYou just have to use his overdrives, I don’t think it matters whether you kill something with it.

KeymasterThat’s what I was saying though….I did a random battle with no overdrive used or built up, just killed a monster or maybe two with tidus.

KeymasterYep Tidus and Wakka and Yuna were pretty much Gods at everything once I had all the arena monsters done.

Ditto.
A lot of RPGs tend to make me think "man, I sure loved FFX a lot more than this", so I guess FFX was pretty good, imo. Or maybe I just played it with all the right nostalgia factors in place, iuno.

KeymasterYea I really enjoyed the end stuff with FFX. The game was a bit too easy until then save for a Seymour battle maybe. I can’t say much for the story but I didn’t enjoy the story of FFXII much either.
