ParticipantPut it here since its got nothing to do with Sega
Quote:The latest Famitsu issue revealed a new Lunar game for the PSP.Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star is a remake to the original Sega CD game, Lunar: The Silver Star. The 1992 title was already remade on the Sega Saturn (Japan only) as Lunar: Silver Star Story and on the Playstation as Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete.
Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star is being developed by GungHo and will feature new 2D sprites for the characters and backgrounds in order to take advantage of the PSP hardware.
Another remake but I’m still excited looks cool. Hopefully it comes here, what would make it better is if it was translated by the old Working Designs crew.
The original is definately one of my favourites rpgs.

KeymasterDamn, graphics look real nice. I only have a DS so I might not be able to play it anyway unless I decide to get a PSP at some point.
And yea, too bad it’s not Working Designs. Hopefully it serves the original well though I loved playing that on sega cd

ModeratorGood news. Silver Star is good stuff. It’s the sort of game that convinces me they don’t make’m like they used to (even when it isn’t true).
Especially if they remake Eternal Blue too, that was my favorite RPG.

KeymasterSounds like XSEED is doing the translation. Working Designs still dead.

ModeratorWorking Designs turned into Gaijinworks. Which currently still just has a website. Too bad.
XSeed seems to be what Working Designs wished it could be. They’ve got a large spread of good stuff that they’re showing off at E3. I’m looking forward to seeing what they can do – they did well in WA4&5.

ParticipantIs that a remake of Silver Star Story for the PS/Sega CD? If so, I might get it for my PSP.

KeymasterYes sir. A remake of a remade game. I only played the Sega CD version of Lunar Silver Star but yea, it was a good time. What struck me was how interesting talking to people was – I know it’s an RPG staple but not many really make it that compelling of a thing to do, more forced than anything. Lunar was good about that though. Visually this looks real nice of course, I’ll have to post some more pics eventually though Zhang Liao’s Famitsu page is nice.
Xseed does some to be coming out to be a decent secondary RPG company. Taking up this was probably a good idea on their part.
