Moderatorwatching you live… you're in the wrong area for what you're looking for, heh, go more towards the west… lol, you save state, hit a battle, reload, and instantly hit another battle, its rather amusing to watch
Perhaps I need to implement that new smokepot modification found by Xhinaeria…

ParticipantYeah that was just brutal, I had a feeling fighting Lu Bu that I was wasting my time cause he would probably be the boss so I cant recruit him.
Sure enough…. :finger:
Still, this should be fun.

ParticipantLu Bu down, are any of these people even recruitable? Or are they just there to murder me? lol.
Edit-Nevermind found out the answer, heheheheeeeee

ParticipantAll done FLEXX
But that has to have been the best mod work I have seen so far when it comes to reworking retro games like this (Though my experience is limited to just the two mods I've played here).
It was a hell of alot of fun!
As far as bugs, there was only one thing that stood out as I was trying to finish the game, upon one of my trips back through the cave of heaven the enemies were for some reason at the strength they would have been at the very beginning of the game, this of course stopped once I came out of the cave.
You can see for yourself in my videos if you actually feel like watching through them (Its the 2nd to the last I believe), its not a big deal but its really the only thing I could point out.
Thanks again for your outstanding work!
I'll be starting the Yuan Shao mod tomorrow when I come home from my doctors appointment.

He really raised the bar with this one…
Quote:I'll be starting the Yuan Shao mod tomorrow when I come home from my doctors appointment.YAY! I'll only be around today and tomorrow though. Will be driving and out of town after that. Look forward to seeing you play it. It should be (mostly) a cakewalk after this mod. I've bumped the Yuan Shao mod thread for feedback.

Cave encounters are based on the previous encounter before entering the cave, just a little note for you for the future.

ModeratorWell, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I laughed a lot at your footage as you stumbled through parts and tried so hard to recruit people in the bonus chapter only to find you could get a few at a time. I'd say your brutal beating by Lu Bu was the best, along with your discovery of how I made some new ambush-only battles :P
The best compliment is sharing these mods with other people so we can get the word out on these mods since our advertising budget is, well, zero.
I appreciate your feedback and hope you will take up playing some of my future work. :finger:

ParticipantIt wasnt That bad, I went into it knowing I would lose cause I didnt have my full TP after fighting Lu Bu in a random battle, just wanted to see what I was up against lol.
Sure enough the rest of it wasnt too bad, just took some planning, along with the trial and error on seeing who I could and couldnt recruit, I just wanted to really change my strategist cause I had a feeling I was going to need chaos.
But it got my inner loot whore going, I love trying to min/max the perfect team.
