ModeratorHelmet heads are tough to draw and make look decent. Those with a more cloth-like or even hair portraits look a lot better than their metallic counterparts.
You know, I'm still waiting on those last two portraits you promised! How about
Guan Ping

and
Zhou Cang

ModeratorOnce again, I only promised five pictures because I didn't realize how much effort translating these to 4-color would be; SNES images to 4-color would be a LOT easier.
That said, you still have three more pictures than you expected; I'll get around to the other two eventually.
EDIT: That said, I have these sitting around from a while back. Yes, they're technically 40×48, but (1) it's not much effort to make them 48×48, and (2) there are a LOT of them.

ModeratorSun Quan gets some slight recoloring and shading updates.I figure since he's the main character, he should probably be the most up to date in terms of portrait techniques.

ModeratorSomething about Zhou Yu's portrait needed revising. It was just a little bit too… smirky?

ModeratorIIRC zhou yu was described as being handsome, almost feminine.
So unless the number of bearded females is drastically underestimated, it's probably best to go without giving zhou yu facial hair.
EDIT: One of Zhou Yu's nicknames was "Mei Zhou Lang" — literally "Zhou the Handsome Youth".

Moderatornah, you should stick with the face he had yesterday and hand one of the new faces to someone else.

ModeratorYa I like the Zhou Yu you had originally.
I think with touching up the portraits like this you're just torturing all the people dying for this to be released :P

ModeratorDon't worry, peng; I know all about the endless desire to fiddle with perfectly good creations :(
