ParticipantYes, this topic is about Guan Yu, I feel that Liu Bei be more intelligent then he was.
You have to remember, though; the very thing that makes you a nerd is that your enthusiasms are totally unrelatable and non-marketable to most of the world. For example, anime and celibacy. - Seanbaby

ParticipantYes, Liu Bei was likely the smartest, plus he didn’t have an arrogance problem like Guan Yu did. Of course, he was the weakest fighter, so the stats should work out.

ParticipantLiu Bei is weak, imagine how it would’ve been if Yuan shu and enlisted Zhuge Liang and the five tigers instead. And Liu Bei just served under Yuan Shao
September 25, 2006 at 2:19 am #21521Taishi Ci
ParticipantWell, if Liu Bei was under Yuan Shao permanently, he’s got three Tigers already (Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun). I guess Huang Zhong and Ma Chao would be up for grabs though.
Somehow I doubt Zhuge would serve the only warlord to proclaim himself Emperor while Xian was still on the throne.

ParticipantI thought Yuan Shu was the one that proclaimed himself Emperor. Yuan Shao was the incompetant noble fuck who pissed on himself at the sight of Guan Yu.

By the way, good pic Commie.
no one seems to have replied about my question. and ill repeat it: I think that meng you, niu jin, and fan chou are overrated in their war stats. discuss
September 29, 2006 at 12:29 am #21525thechieftain
ParticipantI think all three of those guys suck, meng you the worst, I execute him at first sight, just like cao cao and all the Xiahou’s
September 29, 2006 at 1:01 am #21526Taishi Ci
ParticipantWell Dong Zhuo and Meng Huo need to have some powerful generals that are loyal to them, so Fan Chou and Meng You are ok. But who did Niu Jin serve other than Cao Cao? Yuan Shu?

ParticipantI never did like Zhou Yu or Lu Xun. Both of them are immensely overrated for no reason, especially in power. When have they ever fought anyone to deserve 70 and above? Freaking Sima Yi went one on one with Wei Yan, you don’t see them giving him a high strength. Plus, I thought Xu Sheng, Lu Su, Zhang Hong, Han Zi, Taishi Chi, Gan Ning, and Lu Meng deserve better than what they’re getting. Xu Sheng himself proved at to be at very least a mini-Jian Wei/Deng Ai. Yeah, he lost a one on one with Cao Ren, but he actually fought.

Participantzhou yu and lu xun did fight. what about chi bi and yi ling? they did fight in these wars u know. they are just like lu meng, but not as strong as he is.
September 29, 2006 at 4:47 pm #21530huaxiong
Participantdong zhou had lu bu and me! and also meng huo had wu tugu, who for some reason isnt in rotk2 or 3. and niu jin is strong for some reason in doae2 as well. stronger than cao ren. he didnt do anything special in history other than defy cao ren and get defeated. so they are overrated.
