He is better. Kind of. His STR is about +30 from Zhang Song and just -3 less Intelligence. Huang Quan has a static 130 soldiers so that will be obsolete very soon while Zhang Song at least gains soldiers at each level so you could use him longer.

Anyway, I'll probably change both of them, giving Huang Quan more soldiers so you can use him longer (or having soldier increases for him).

Yeah, but you can't expect someone with 70 Str to beat up enemy generals like a human club. Yes, you should definitely change Huang Quan (I believe he was only a bit less than Zhang Song in the story, which means he should have higher level-ups so that people will have a reason to take him along).

True, but I believe Huang Quan was in the lower ranks of Shu for a long time. I don't think Liu Zhang liked him much until later in history, but I could be wrong.

I don't think Liu Zhang had enough time to like him, Huang Quan joined Liu Bei then Cao Cao.

Yea Liu Zhang (Liu Yan) has a formidable army early on. Yellow Turbans shouldn't be any problem. As I said, I'd like to at least go through and make the standard enemies harder. Wouldn't be too difficult, maybe I'll get to at least that sometime soon, we'll see. Keep up playing though, if it's so easy you should be in Yuan Shu's area by now :) huohu

Actually I'm a slow gamer, so it's better for the picture thing because it can be like a photo walkthrough or something. I think I can post every battle for the game.

Zhang Ren is of much help in battles. He can either hit hard or cast tactics brilliantly.

Yea, Zhang Ren is definitely Liu Zhang's best officer. Sort of like a poor man's Guan Yu especially early on in the game. Yan Yan is balanced too but not quite as skilled overall as Zhang Ren.
