KeymasterOh good point hua….I didn’t realize this because I’m always logged into lys.com….
That’s something that definitely needs to be fixed because there is no link to the forum or blog if you aren’t signed in.

ParticipantI’m not sure I follow junsuijin’s logic on this. Page-to-page relevancy simply is not an important element of SEO when those pages are all on your home site. Major search engines weigh each page on its own virtues and nothing more. It doesn’t matter if Wild Arms links to Suikoden. The Wild Arms page simply won’t get weight for Suikoden because Suikoden is not an element of that page… but it won’t be penalized either.
Think about Wikipedia, for example. They suffer no loss at all when strange links associate odd pages. This is because Wikipedia pages do not gain relevancy by linking to each other. A Wikipedia page gains a huge default boost because Wikipedia is a top-tier site for placement by default, and all the rest comes from people linking to that page.
You could spell Site Map in German, organize all your games under a literature heading, your Suikoden under Three Kingdoms, and your Three Kingdoms under Viagra. The search engine doesn’t care. It just finds the links and does its job. It weighs the page based on your site’s weighed value, the content it actually discovers on that page, the nature of pages linking to that page, and the text of links to that area.
Never ever make a site more confusing for the sake of SEO — if you are ever doing that you have probably misunderstood how SEO works. For SEO to work just make sure your source is as clean as possible, links are easy for spiders to find and network cleanly through your site, that pages don’t break certain core rules (don’t let an important keyword become flagged as spam, for example), and that the content on a page is actually useful enough for people to link in to it.
If you are trying to create pages with better keyword relevancy think of a clever way to work them into your layout. At KMA, for example, there is a games page which lists every single game, and through that games page you can access pages for each major series. Each of those pages have been heavily optimized for the associated series and associated keywords and, though they aren’t often-times linked to on other pages, by sheer virtue of innate relevancy and KMA’s weight as a reliable site, they bring in a good amount of traffic. People figure out where to go from there.

ParticipantLook at the bottom left. There is an icon which is a page with a warning on it. It says there’s an error on page.

Keymasterbottom left? I don’t see it man. You mean the main site or the forum. Maybe it has something to do with being signed in or not.

Yeah we’re getting new members.
Also, I mean on the forum. You know where it says "opening http://www.blablabla.com" and then "Done"? Yeah every time I see Error on Page instead of "done"? While it isn’t really a problem, sometimes the buttons on this forum don’t work (or otherwise takes a damn long time to load) and I have to close the internet window and open another one. Do you get what I’m saying?

When I use IE, it shows. When I use Firefox, it’s normal.
It’s not really a problem, so no matter.

KeymasterSite was down for a few days because our DNS is tied to an account (someone else we set up hosting for) and she forgot to pay (she was in the hospital actually).
