Thanks for the history lesson, I'll admit I'm not as informed on these new additions as others. I don't know, it's cool they're going to later years and adding many new characters. And I'm still confident they'll be adding Yuan Shu and
maybe a few 'Other' characters, just wish they would have announced those first.
Xiahou Yuan looks funny. Like a cross between Zhang Fei and Xu Zhu, or something.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingI… I just had a terrible premonition that they'll make Li Jue (yes, Li Jue) unique in one of the next few games. Most likely, the majority of his campaign would be a Roaring Rampage of Revenge against the various ADZC members.
Then again, they DID have 100 (or close to it) officers in WO and WO2; it's entirely possible that they'll hit a hundred in DyW or SW…
Li Jue may be considered. They seem to be adding quite a bit of characters here in DW7, almost like the additions between DW2 and DW3 (probably the most ever added, actually). If they add more later on Li Jue would have to get closer to the top of the list…
Time to get caught back up with some of the new character releases.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingThe guys with the claws seems to appeal to me most. Zhang He has always been a favorite and now Ding Feng looks pretty cool. I suppose as a later-Wu member he will clash with Zhang He often. Dude kind of reminds me of Sagat from Street Fighter.
Here is a pic of Ding Feng in action again thanks to Tecmo Koei. Since he's bigger, maybe he's a slower, more powerful version of Zhang He.

I personally would swap zhong hui and Dneg Ai's models.
And I'm sure they created SIma Yan but have yet to release him. Lui Shan may wind up playable one of these days (gasp!), as may Sun Deng, but I don't see Sima Zhong being added. XD
Guo Huai seems to be a Kuroda Kanbei groupie (even thoguh Kuroda Kanbei doesn't show up for another ~1350 years), and Ding Feng seems so… undingfenglike.

Zhong Hui's hair bothers me. Again, is he late Wei or Jin? My Wei / Jin knowledge is limited, I should read again….
Cao Ren reminds me of someone with that get-up and the helmet, I can't think of who though…

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingDeng Ai and Zhong Hui were both killed a year before Jin was established, so technically they were Wei officers their whole lives. We don't want literal results, though…
Deng Ai had been working for a while when he was promoted by Sima Yi in Zheng Shi 2 (241 AD), which still had eight more years of Cao Shaung's dominance left. Naturally, he was still in office when he died.
As for Zhong Hui, this page says that he had already been singled out as one of the brightest people of his generation by 226 AD; he was already a Central Secretariat when Sima Yi toppled Cao Shuang and (despite being associated with the Cao faction) soon became a key Sima Yi ally.
So both of them would be in both Wei and Jin; presumably, they'll have a 249 scenario where they switch sides in battle.
And yeah, Ding Feng's picture looks like the sort of nut who would run into every battle and try to get killed off! He's not Honda Tadakatsu, sooo…
Ah I see, that's about what I figured for those two then.
