Good news, we went from a PR 2 to a PR 3. Our Enlargement site went from a PR 0 to PR 2.
You may not understand but this is good news.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingThe thing is, right now, this is THE ONLY site on the internet with a large data base for Legend of Cao Cao, that should count for something. Perhaps you can get more hits by allowing downloads of other ROTK games? Since they’re old, I doubt Koei would molest you for having them on your site. Games like ROTK 1-5 would be nice.
It’s true that the LoCC info that we have on this site is easily the largest in English (and even more so once Lady Wu returns from wherever she is to give more info) but I don’t want to toot my own horn that much. Once the Legends section is set up on Kongming we’ll probably get some mroe traffic that way.
Lord, what’s all this about PR and Enlargement?
Yep the thing about Rtk (and RTK 3 suffers for this) is that it’s so hard to get ranked well for "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" or any keywords similar to that….we’re working on getting links to continue to get our PR to increase so we can compete with some of the top sites of the genre (I think Kongming has a PR 4 and so does KoeiWarriors so we’re getting close in terms of PR, which means a lot for google).
Basically, if you have a lot of links from high PR sites (say, PR4-6) saying "Destiny of an Emperor", you’ll continue to go up the list (based on whoever else (like James) has the same type of links). Obviously, it’s harder to find PR 5 or 6 sites to link with, but there are ways if you’re tricky. Generally though there’s always going to be someone richer who’s just going to buy a shitload of high PR links but I don’t think that’s the case for the keywords we would be after (ie the games we’re making walkthroughs for).
Also, if you’re at forum’s with a decent page rank, you can put "Legend of Cao Cao" and then link to the Legend of Cao Cao section and that’ll increase the links for that particular page (ultimately making the PR higher, making us higher in the search engines).
