Yes, I just picked up Alanis, Melville and Elliott. I had also left Goro, Hortez VII and Arthur until now.
But I’ve recruited all the optional characters and just did the think at Le Buque and Mt. Senai with Geddoe’s defense group or whatever….Geddoe just lost the True Lightning Rune.
Of course I didn’t abandon the villagers though.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingSuiko 1 is better (or so I’m told) but 4 is more widespread you probably want to put up a guide for that one first.
You should play a few ROTK3 games while you decide.
Yes 1 is better. The good thing about when I do play Suikoden I is that I’ve played through it like 50 times so it won’t be a long guide. Being that I haven’t beat 4, that’ll be longer…so I’ll probably continue doing the odd-numbered suikoden’s and do the first. Didn’t you say you picked it up recently?

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingYes, but I don’t have 4 so I can’t compare them. If I ever pick it up, it’ll just be to get the carryover data for Suikoden Tactics.
Next time I play this I need to use the Hero+5 dogs party, and see if I can beat the last two chapters that way.
On another topic, what happens if you beat the final boss in Suikoden 2 with just Riou?
I’d venture to say that that’s impossible. That’s one of the harder final battles in Suikoden, if you ask me (not necessarily saying much though).

What I wanted to know is that right after that battle, you have the scene where the other party members point out that the castle is falling apart (or something, whatever it was that was happening) and it seem strange if Riou just stood around for a few minutes.
The guide didn’t help me too much with getting Chris’s true rune.
I’m using Geddoe as my flame champion. Already got through the first part with him, now I’m up to Chris.
What party would you recommend for me? I honestly don’t remember what members I used when I fought Yuber with Geddoe.
Also, Chris is level 52 with the best possible weapon at this time. I’d have to get you info on the other characters.

Are you talking about the end of the game, or where each main character loses their respective rune?

They see me throwin' fireballs out of my sword, they runnin'.Hm…Geddoe is your Flame Champion and he fought Yuber? You sure that wasn’t Hugo recovering the Lightning Rune? Every Flame Champion fights Luc at the end…so maybe your FC is Hugo not Geddoe
