No, this is not a strategy game. It’s an RPG, hopefully being made for RPG Maker XP. Commie has the script, so soon a demo should be ready.
Do you have any sprites for any of the characters worked out? If you don’t, I’ll probably end up using the default RPG Maker ones.

You could just use some Runtime sprites that somewhat resemble the characters first. If the demo works out, we can go back and edit them later.
There’s probably some 32-bit ROTK sprites out there somewhere. Maybe on a Japanese site or something.
Alright, I might get around to that. Do you have any idea of stats for Zhou Jing? Never heard of him until now.

Uh, probably strength focused, not so intellegent. Like a mini-Zhang Fei.
According to the novel, Zhou Jing helps Liu Bei fight a few of the early Scarves battles, but then he leaves when Liu Bei goes to help Lu Zhi and doesn’t appear again. You could probably just go with a different-colored guard sprite.
Okay, give me a couple days or so. I’ve got a great idea of how this’ll flow, even if I lack decent sprites at the moment.

Cool, I’ll be looking forward to it. Don’t worry if you have to change things here and there, as long as it’s not too major.
Edit: I forgot to point this out, but after Zhou Jing leaves your party, just have him hang out in Zhuo’s castle somewhere.
I would like to say "yes", but I just write the script so I don’t know. Hopefully it’ll be at least as good as Perhong’s game, and will update more often.
Commie, I found a bunch of Dynasty Warriors sprites I had lying around. You could use them as battle images for the characters. I sent you an email with the file.
Isn’t Perhong’s in the other thread, the sticky one at the top? If it didn’t work, maybe his server dropped the file.
Try that, and if it doens’t work I’ll email you my copy of his game.

It said the file had a virus on it. Besides the file was 24 megs.
Maybe Perhong can give it to you, if he ever updates.
Those sprite are good, but I can’t really use them (They’re stationary, I could use them for in-battle sprites though). I’m going to set everything up, then mess with the sprites.
