THere is only two places in this demo where you get random encounters, and I let them at the default encounter rate, so it’s RM2K, not me the peroblem, I’ll have to fix that, thanks for telling.
As for the chest in Yong An, it’s easy to beat when Liu Meng, Zhang Huang and Guan Zhong are at level 7 with the Soldier!
BTW, have you found all the secrets? Many are hidden around a bit.

REEDIT: As for the full version, v2 of the demo game isn’t out yet, and I really think it will take a LONG time before the full version! (I’m not selling anything, but I putted the DOAE 1 and 2 songs in version 2!)

I’ve re-zipped it, re-uploaded it on the server, and tested a download after the upload, it should work now. I do think that’s weird because lordyuanshu was able to download it successfully…

Theses are only updates of the firsts pictures, I really think the choice before save in the menu is Active of Wait. I think the default is Active.

In DW4:XL, there is the LV11 weapons system. The Xtreme mode, where you build up your force, build your kingdoms at each 5 missions, and do missions until you decide to quit or you die. As you advance, things gets much more complicated! (At mission 50, where you’ll start getting thoses saddles if you have the other special items, the difficulty is like chaos!) Legend mode is a story about a character, mostly fictionnal. (Damn that LV11 weapon of Xiahou Dun, no items and 10000 archers at chaos!) And finally, some items have been added to the ones of the original! Like the famous Musou Armor! (It’s less good than in DW3:XL, but still useful!) And that’s about all the add-ons of XL over the original!

I know, I fixed that girl walking too fast in v2 BETA. You’ve got Guan Zhong? Have you seen the prefect? You will only know his real name in v2.

Controls:
Direction arrows: move
Enter: Accept, talk, search.
ESC, NUM PAD 0: Menu, Cancel.
You can’t open the menu in the prologue, and for the secret, move in the fire.
EDIT: Dang, I should have included the controls in the Readme.txt.
