Have you tried running a Windows 95 or 98 virtual machine? This may help you to play that game, if you have a strong enough computer to run a virtual machine without major slowdown, of course.

Yeah, the main problem is that most of my officers loyalty end up at 70ish, since I just can't give more gold each month, which I don't understand why you can't give gold to more than one officer per turn… If I had a 100 loyalty officer, I'd totally hide him at Dong Zhuo's XD

It was Dong Zhuo, I believe. True that I've been stealing officers left and right, but still… It's hard playing as a created character…

Wow, I've been playing ROTK2 yesterday, and I find it personally complicated. Is it just me, or do the enemies get bonuses? Because someone who barely had any troops somehow got 100 on 3 officers in like 2 months! And there was no harvest or tribute during that time :O

I'll need to get more into ROTK 1 and 2 since I've never actually finished these two even once. I just finished Nobunaga's Ambition 1 on SNES. I'll record the ending for that at a later date.

Actually, DOAE's an RPG, not a strategy game, so that wouldn't enter in it. Although I have quickly perused through the screenshots from those hacks.
And yeah, for now I'd prefer to stick to official games. I had already planned on doing Genghis Khan II on SNES.

Man, I have to re-start working on this game… The last update I did was something stupid on the southern world map with the "air"ship you're not supposed to have until the end of episode 3.
If anyone wants me to link that video, let me know.
