Probably the easiest to find now is Suiko 5 or Tactics; I would suggest 5. Suiko 3 is also not bad, assuming you don’t live in a PAL region since I don’t think it was released there.
I love that game, the first time I beat it I didn’t have a Memory Pak or whatever they’re called so I had to do it without getting a game over.
Kinda feels like Zelda, except not as serious. Plus there’s the giant robot segments.

I remember reading about this tactic: buying cheap games from the big retail stores and selling them back for a profit at game stores. I should try it sometime if I’m desperate for cash.
Isn’t Butcher Bay one of the only good movie-based games?
There are apparently a lot of SaGa games out there. The PSX games, the Romancing SaGa games, and I think the gameboy "Final Fantasy" games were also SaGa games.
The most recent SaGa game I know of is Unlimited SaGa, which has pretty mixed reviews.

Yes, I remember that. Seems like most of it was when we were talking about the DoaE3 games and Suikoden 5. I am beginning to wonder if the amount of posts will ever get that high again.

So you’re emulating the Playstation versions on your PSP? In that case, I don’t know how you would get the data to load for Suikoden II. Maybe you should ask on a PSP emulating forum?
Anyway, like LYS said, the save data from the last save point before the final boss should work for loading in Suikoden II. If Gremio is in the ending then that’s the good ending, so it doesn’t look like that’s a problem.
You should be able to load it in Suiko 2 as soon as you name the main character. Make sure the data is on a PS1 memory card, and it probably needs to be in slot 1.
