Rockbein
Rockbein is the Neylern soldier that is working to restore the glory of his once proud country. Speak with Groemer nearby and also Fernando. Turns out Alasdir is from Neylern in disguise.
Speak with Fernando for a Letter from Alpha. Head south out of the Inn and then out of the town. A earthquake occurs as you leave. Head southwest and then northwest to exit in the first area. Keep going north and you’ll reach an area with a locked gate in the northeast. In the middle of battle, Alasdir will show up with a Researcher.
Show the Researcher the Letter to Alpha. As he opens the door though, a Screaper comes out. Another long battle although the enemies on the side are easy to defeat. Go near the Researcher to make sure he doesn’t go anywhere, and then gang up on the Rook Screaper to end it. A Theriaca is your reward.
Enter the cave after the talking. North of here is a Switch to flip. Across the bridge and to the next area, clear it out and take the northeast exit.
The huge gate in the northeast of this room is sealed shut. The flashing thing around here is an Ancient Journal and you should show it to the researcher. More talking and then at the big gate a Knight Screaper is here to mess things up. Alasdir takes him on while six Pawn Screapers prevent you, the researcher and Groemer from escaping.
You really just need to get Groemer out of there so command him to do so. Have your main character Rockbein get in the way of the pawn screaper’s. They probably aren’t worth the time to kill them.
After you escape and the mission is complete, head south and west across the bridges (a different route compared to the first time). A scene with Alasdir and the Knight Screaper. You acquire the Friendship Medal.
Jaergen
Fernando is here to alert you that Lord Vittorio is at the Inn in Jaergen. Rockbein also gets a Hodaka from Fernando. Return northeast to Jaergen, it should be an easy walk.
At the Inn, Rockbein will meet with Vittorio. You’ll give him the Friendship Medal and then talk for a bit. Soon the Second Letter from Alpha appears. Turns out there is something important at the Saunail Ruins, southwest of Jaergen.
Exit to the south after the scene. As you are outside, go west first and then southwest. In this area are two PMB guards in the northwest. Go to the hut southwest of them and wait there until the guards are pulled away from their duty. Now enter the northwest ruins.
Ancient Jaergen Ruins
Despite the fact that there are about 50 monsters in here, this should be easy to maul through all of them one by one. Further north is a scene.
More enemies in here as you see powerful weapons. The northwest door is the exit. Unfortunately as you continue you will here an alarm and lots of Guardians will be trying to kill you. The blue eyed guardian is the leader but it can change – more Guardians come as you kill them. Kill them to your heart’s content but you’ll need to destroy the northeast shutters to exit through that passage.
You’ll be back in Jaergen at this point. There is someone who wishes to meet Rockbein. It looks like a Pothradian. More scenes and it will be the end of Rockbein’s role.
