Tom Brunansky and Jack Clark came over to the Red Sox in 1990 and 1991 respectively. Neither had much left in the tank at that point in their careers but still produced 40+ homers between them in 1991.

Super Baseball Simulator 1000 for SNES is based on the 1990 statistics.

1991 Boston Red Sox Team Analysis : Probably the 2nd or 3rd best team in the AL, behind Oakland and pretty close to on par with Toronto. Good fielding team and for the most part, all the offensive players are fast enough to make do. The team hits for average and gets good power production from the 3-6 spots – these players are actually very similar although Jack Clark (KIRK) is the one who stands out as a power hitter.
Roger Clemens (SID) has some ability, of course. The speed and the stamina to dominate for a long while in games. The rest of the starters don’t pitch particularly hard but have extra stamina points, which never hurts. The same can be said of the relievers – Reardon only throws 89 but at least has an ST of 20 and the setup guy has a 15 ST.
