Juan Gonzalez, Julio Franco, Rafael Palmeiro and Ruben Sierra pose with the classic T Texas hats. Baseball Simulator 1000 is a little before Juan Gonzalez’s days but the other three comprise spots 3-5 in the batting order.

Super Baseball Simulator 1000 for SNES is based on the 1990 statistics.

1991 Texas Rangers Team Analysis : I actually thought their offense was more potent. ROBT (Ruben Sierra) in particular is a horse in this game, often times leading the AL in home runs despite having only 17 the year before. Palmeiro and Julio Franco are the other good offensive players – Gary Pettis has good speed but little else. Brian Downing isn’t bad for a #6 hitter, and probably should be moved up. Jeff Huson is another crappy #2 hitter – either put him at the 8 spot or bench him for someone (not like their bench is thriving with talent either though).
Decent pitching, propped up by ROSS (Nolan Ryan). Very fast pitches and good stamina for him. Bobby Witt acts as a lesser version of Ryan, still throwing quite fast. The relievers lack elite stuff but at least are blessed with extra stamina.
