ModeratorBecause I’m reading place names from the ROM. I’m gonna add these to the code and fix up the names. For example if you renamed ChengDu to “Happy Place” and it says “LiuBei@ChengDu” the new name will be “Ruler at Happy Place”.

Moderator:wasted: <-- my code writing ability Actually, some of the sprites were duplicates like the "Dead Wood" house and some had text that didn't match up with sprites. So until these can be tested consider them to be "tentative" titles.

I might have to remove some of these from the list. Could be a case of “lazy DoaE developers” leaving stuff behind that isn’t used.

ModeratorI had hoped that they left in some ‘bonus’ music that wasn’t included in the regular game, but after going through all of the sound effects…. nothing :crybaby:
The “ZhangSongShuHut” actually had the pirate text associated with it. I just figured that the correct location was the house the blocks your progress to Shu given the sprite.
There were also two ‘find my sword’ huts, I wasn’t sure what the 2nd one might have been.

ModeratorOops, I had forgot to set up text bank 3 in my stuff so that explains the Guan Ping and Zhang Song ones. Lemme fix that and see what we have.

ModeratorLooking better. Zhang Song and Guan Ping are fixed. Also noticing that Liu Bei on the throne has 2 extra bytes after him hence why the villagers after him are messed up.
The 2 dead wood guys are the only other oddity, will check that.
Don’t mess around with villagers and save your ROM with the current DoaEditor. Need to fix a couple of buggies.

Changes:

– Villager bugs fixed
– Sprite palette color picker on officer pagePlease test it out and let me know if you find any buggies. Note that all the place/villager problems we saw before I fixed in DoaEditor code. The only thing that’s still a little strange is the dead wood guy. Looking at the ROM they are 2 identical entries with the exception being that one has an event tied to him and the other doesn’t. So if you edit the dead wood guy you’ll need to edit both.
