Shouldn't it be possible to change the percentages? After all, some officers would be more willing to join you than others…
Changing the percentages (across the board) would be easy. If anyone wants to do it I can give more concise instructions on how to do it. Personalizing the percentages to different officers would be a lot more work and is probably not worth the effort. It would be a lot of coding for something that's really not that big of a deal.
Okay, so it doesn't seem to happen often, BUT, I did send my guys all-out and @ the end of the battle, it glitched, but the game still ran… then I checked and had a pirate force in my party w/one of my guys gone! I'll have to check this one more…
See that's normal. The pirates kidnapped your guy and took him to their ship where they tortured him for information. Meanwhile the pirates didn't want you to know he was gone so they sent a bogus replacement pirate.
Or…maybe something went wrong with the kill code? Is it possible that your guy got killed in a duel during all-out ?

Hmmmm, it appears that modifying the gold it takes to recruit an officer the way you prescribed makes it so your TP doesnt regenerate @ the inn

Heres an interesting bit of info. If you advance past level 51, you start learning tactics by whatever slot ID comes for your tactics in 3b8b3 and so on. The game keeps continuing to read from the tactic level list even though it shouldn't :P

Since DOAEditor does not allow modders to edit battles for tiles on Jian An or Wu Cave, you will have to edit it manually via a hex editor w/ the appropriate Chapter.
