I haven’t done this battle yet but it looks scary. I think I’ll need to build up some more levels. I have Yi Ji as my tactician so I can have Zhuge in battle casting stuff.
Actually this is suicide. There’s no way I’ll have enough TP to take them all out….I think it’s absolutely necessary to use an array, but which to use?
That bastard Chen Jiao casts Feng Jian, putting himself in front. His 4200 is tough to take down especially when all you can use is tactics (and he has a high intelligence).
Hardest battle in the game….I say.

For the battle that Lord Yuan Shu asks, I don’t think that we have a chance to win. If we use Yu Lin, we can limit Chen Jiao’s tactics. However, others’ attacks are way too strong. All of their strikes are critical hits because we do not have the Tally Order. In this screenshot, a critical hit from Xiahou Dun may be able to kill Zhuge Liang.
Our attacks hurt them so little that we will not be able to take out Chen Jiao, if he sets up Feng Jian array. Yi Ji won’t give us enough TP as the strategist.
Conclusion: We don’t stand a chance. It’s better to conquer Jing Zhou at least. Save a few levels and you may skip Xiang Yang and Yi Ling. If you choose to fight this battle, get Da Re (level 32, takes WAY TOO MUCH TIME) and you may have a chance.

Good news, this battle can be won. I usually come into it around level 19 or so, and if you have the patience to level up to level 24 to get Luo Shi, the third level boulder magic, you can take down Nan Jun with some luck.
You absolutely, positively have to be efficient with your TP. Personally, I switched to Zhuge being the tactician to give me 25 or so more TP than I would have had with Yi Ji at the tactician slot.
I only used Zhao Yun and I only used Luo Shi. No arrays. I went after Niu Jin first and got him down in two turns, with one of the Luo Shi’s taking off 1300 or so. Xiahou Dun followed and he was a bit harder, he repelled at least one Luo Shi from Zhao Yun. Cao Ren was next and his low soldier count was his downfall. I decided to leave Cao Ang for last since he’s rather harmless, and because I’ve had problems with Chen Jiao in this battle. My respect for Chen Jiao has gone up, he’s much more aggressive than I normally thought he was. Plus his 4200 soldiers take forever to take down, not to mention the fact that he is near Zhao Yun in intelligence so you’ll really have to get lucky to take him down. If you can manage to kill him, Cao Ang isn’t too tough. I ran out of TP killing Chen Jiao and had to all out Cao Ang, which is trouble because physical attacks are absolutely worthless in this battle.

Indeed, Chen Jiao is a tough opponent for this battle. He repels most of our tactics with 195 intelligence. By the way, he has 4100 soldiers instead of 4200.
I went back to try the low level challenge,now at Nan Jun on level 15 :shock:. That battle with Cao Ren, Cao Ang, Chen Jiao, Xiahou Dun and Niu Jin. I can only kill Xiahuo Dun, Niu Jin and run out of Tp. All i use are Ye Huo(fire tactics) or Liu Xing and cant kill cao ren and others after that. It the worst battle i ever fight. Now i completely lose the wild to fight this battle.
Anyone know how to win this at Lv15? Its super hard!!!!!!

I use a 5 men team by letting zhou cang and yi ji to die.,then use zhuge liang as tacticals.
Chen Jiao and Cao Ren will try to use Feng Jian formation i wonder why,but its does help me alot.
I use Liu Mu after i find out it deals more damage then Ye Huo,and use it to on 3 person.
Zhao Yun Liu Mu Xiahou Dun
Guan Yu Liu Mu Niu Jin
Zhuge Liang Liu Mu Chen Jiao
each time i deal damage range from 125~649 (zhuge liang the most)
For my Full Tp was only 80, i use the 2 tactics item and recover 60 TP but still not enough to kill Cao Ang.
Now i can go and sleep with a big smile, night night ^^.
haha that’s unreal. I don’t know how you beat those bastards because I had a hard enough time surviving at a high level. I mean when I beat it I was at level 24 with Yan Re and Luo Shi. It’s those damn Tactical Potions…where did you find some of them? Maybe they’re in that Shu Map cave or something….but I remember looking for them and not being able to find them when I tried to beat this battle. With them, ya I could see you winning.

The 2 tactics potion item is at the Cave where you got your first flame armor.
To say the truth, i was lucky that they use Feng Jian formation ^^, so that i can crash them with tactics and not get hit alot.
I use up all my money just to buy copper potion and revive :-( . So now i penny less :shock: .
Since you are penny less, it would be a good time to use the item copy trick!

Thanks for complimenting me as the "Lord of DOAE2". But I do not think that I deserve it, I find out secret information such as item duplication from other veterans playing the Chinese versions.
I am very impressed that Armyant wins the Nan Jun battle at level 15. Congratulations! Since you do not have any money, you can try to find a steel army hidden in Nan Jun. Use the "Check" command and search the castle. You should search the castle’s corners and spots where trees and objects surround on three sides. Once you discover the steel armour, DUPLICATE.
