Some quick edits in January 2020.
Added a few hours of gameplay from the last version and cleaned some text/balancing issues up.
Some errors exist:
-When you enter/exit Luo Yang, you get dumped south of it. So be sure you are ready to fight the battle there, or be willing to have your party get wiped out to get back (or Gullwing).
-Disappearing characters. The characters set up in the Wang Gui/Zhou Chao/Zhou Cang/Xu Zhe positions aren’t showing up. Not sure why. Not really a game-breaking thing at this point given you can get as far as the mod goes without needing any of them. But the gate battle after Luo Yang uses two character that show up on the Song Yong/Song Ren position and there is a good chance they don’t show up for the gate battle for some reason (thus the battle ends up being against three rebel forces instead).

Well i noticed of the protraits and sprites are broken(like shattered glass), can you test it by yourself in a emulador? I want to know if its my emulator that is causing this problem."I shall change the world and make it mine!"

Did anyone successfully beat this mod?
I’m stuck – the cave in the northwest doesn’t have “Dan Fu” or anyone in there as reported.
I beat all known locations and am stuck at the house preventing me to go to Shu.
Emperor says “Stop Yuan Shao” but I ended up in a random battle from him, beat him and recruited him.
I did notice that there’s a large green area above the gate where you free Liu Bei’s wife Lady Gan that is a bunch of random encounters of Rebel Force/Pirate Force with 50k troops and can be used as an XP exploit. I did not use it.

Well there is no end to it as it is incomplete, but it sounds like you may have got to where I finished up last. Did you happen to find the Ma Teng castle in the far west? I believe that is the last thing I added to it a year or so ago.
When I made the Dong Zhuo mod I am pretty sure I copied it from the Yuan Shu mod, and I believe the “stop Yuan Shao” dialogue you are seeing at the Nan Yang castle is from that (not anything related to the storyline in the DZ mod).
The large green area with the random encounters, I believe this is an “off map” location that you can’t get back from.
I need to find time to hop into this one again and figure out where I left off. This is probably the last non-patch mod out there.
