ModeratorOkay, here is your December Surprise! :)
I have two Deng Ai portraits because I wasn't sure which one to use. While I will probably wind up using both in some capacity, I need to be sure which to make the "real deal". I also have a side to side recoloring of the beard, and I still feel that the 'red' beard looks like it has been dippped in spaghetti.
At any rate, here are the clips

Moderator2 portraits for one returning character is a great idea me thinks. On the bottom one I lean towards the one on the right but either is good.

ModeratorAh, so you're saying I should use both portraits for the same guy, like the top one earlier in the game and the bottom one later in the game? That'd be interesting and would give some indication of "time progression" in the game. I like the idea :finger:

Participanti think the 1st deng ai is more distinguished and more bad ass, if you decide to use both, he should be the portrait at the end of the game :o

ModeratorThey estimate at KMA that Deng Ai's birth was in 197…. which would make him fifteen years younger than Sun Quan (182).
Sima Yi, meanwhile, was born in 179, so he's three years older than sun quan and eighteen older than Deng Ai.
You're probably sick of Sima Yi after this many mods…. but if you aren't, then he'd likely be a better choice for two faces than Deng Ai. After all, Sun Quan died only a year after Sima Yi, so really-old Deng Ai won't come into play unless you either extend past Sun Quan or fudge the ages.

ModeratorSo as not to neglect our elder members and aging population with just the younger and middle aged folks, here is another addition that sports our full white bearded friends.

ModeratorOld shubies, hmm?
In 247, Zong Yu was promoted to Colonel of the Garrison Cavalry. At that time, Deng Zhi, the General of the Chariots and Cavalry, paid Zong Yu a visit and condescendingly asked why a man of over 60 years old would accept a new military command. Zong Yu retorted "Sir, being seventy already, you still have not relinquished your command. Why can’t I, being but sixty, accept one?" Zong Yu is noted as being the only person who stood up to Deng Zhi.

ModeratorZhang Ti was the last Wu prime minister; he turned down an offer to surrender and was killed in battle. When that happened, Sun Hao panicked and surrendered.

ModeratorWish someone could create *MORE* officer removal events to make sure you get rid of some of your top people at some point. It would definitely make the game more realistic
Big release of portraits updates!
Ding Feng alternate as well, not sure which to use
