That said, don't hold up the release on my account. Maybe let the beta testers have a go after I get through at least a couple chapters.

ModeratorI see you gave them stuff to begin with the game. I would suggest pre-equipping those items. To do that just add 0x80 to the item number.
EDIT:
Love the story and map changes so far.

ModeratorI also know that I still have yet to put pictures w/ the pirate/brigand/bandit forces. Those can go on my honey-do list:
1. Generic Forces Portraits
2. Opening Sequence Edits
3. Pre-Equipping Officers

ModeratorIt seems that each officer has their own tactics? If that's the case then there is no need to pick a tactician? If so there are instructions on removing the tactician selection from the menu in the guide.
So far I have not seen the infamous bug.
April 14, 2013 at 7:25 pm #43395sonic.penguin
ModeratorWell here is the case. By picking a tactician, you are going to have to do 1 of two things.
A. Reduce your pack mules and put your tactician in the field (dangerous)
B. Remove a High Intelligence officer and lose their unique tactic set in order to give your whole party a larger TP pool. This is especially prevalent towards the end of the game when you will have around 240 TP and the highest INT officers will be rather limited in number.
I'm trying to give 'option's for players where they are going to have to weigh the pros and cons so that you don't have a party full of godly members with no weaknesses.

ModeratorOK makes sense. I'm going to try to avoid spoilers in my questions/descriptions.
I didn't go to the T.D. at the beginning because I didn't seem to be ready. I went onto the "mission". Is there a way to get back to the T.D.? I guess there is later…just hope I didn't miss a big opportunity. 8)
EDIT: Question answered.
Also at the first DZ fight I notice that DC didn't have any tactics which was surprising. That is intentional?
In the HZ town the villager says gullwing instead of the other term.
April 14, 2013 at 9:27 pm #43397sonic.penguin
ModeratorChanged the gulwing thing.
Yeah. DC w/ tactics was just WAY too hard for that fight.
You CAN get back, but it's rather tricky b/c I can't add gullwing locations whenever I wanted to. SO that one people will figure out by default usually :P
TD is meant to be super hard but there are benefits to visiting :)

Just traveled to the 3rd place on the list.
Wow, XL just challenged SC to a duel and DIED. :o
April 14, 2013 at 10:57 pm #43399MiDKnighT
ModeratorLYS kicked my arse so I headed south.
It just said SC died but he lives!
April 15, 2013 at 12:24 am #43400MiDKnighT
ModeratorSo many different options at this point. I can head south, try HZ (who keeps kicking my arse), or go after CC (I think?).
Challenging to figure out where to go next. Taking a break for now… Great mod!
EDIT: Still haven't hit the infamous bug yet. Maybe the 1MB ROM mapper makes the bug either gone or nearly impossible to hit. It's mid game and I haven't had a single freeze.

Participantquick question, being that this is now a 1MB rom, will the latest version of Destiny Of An Editor be able to save this properly? the reason i'm asking is because when the roms changed from 262MB to 524MB, i remember the version that was out at the time couldn't save the rom properly and caused mass chaos to the data in the rom.
