New information released overnight, I think related to the upcoming Famitsu scans tonight (11pm central about).
Anyway, Liu Chan has been confirmed with a large fur robe. His weapon is too confusing to explain, evidently.
Xiao Qiao returns.
Also Dong Zhuo is back with a gundam-style hammer.
That is all we know for now though.

Then again, what can you expect from a company that produces games for PS3 and X360 but not Wii? XD
Why, because they added Liu Chan? I have become convinced that he'll be a good addition just because of his large role in late Shu. But it depends how they make him; I think they'll lose some credibility if they don't make him a fool. It's funny though as I read around there are actually many that are defending him, saying that Jiang Wei wasted all of Shu's resources, Liu Chan was just surrendering for his people. All I remember from reading that part years ago was him listening to Huang Hao the eunich for everything.
New scans coming in probably 6-7 hours (11pm-12am central) and they'll probably include the three just mentioned above (but won't be limited to those three certainly, probably another new character or two and more existing characters).

Yoshimoto vs Liu Chan. Well, that would be a fair fight assuming they are probably the worst characters in the series.
Though still my money is on Yoshimoto.

Yoshimoto Imagawa was pretty good, actually; he conquered a large part of japan and, in nobunaga's ambition 2, he had 89/86/93 politics/war/charisma. And then he made the mistake of fighting a Cao Cao expy, but that's another story…
Keep in mind that Atma only has SW2E, SW2XL, and SW3 (and WO2); sure, he's somewhat goofy, but (as far as I know) he's not retarded in any of them.
Here is the wondrous Liu Chan on the scan, zoomed in. Again he fights with a Rapier as his main weapon and he has a nice bath robe so he is ready for bed time.

Speaking of retarded…wasn't Liu Chan a bit screwed in the head after Liu Bei dropped him to the ground after he was returned by Zhao Yun? I suppose since he was still a baby we'll never know if it mattered, but…do you think if that had never happened that things might've gone differently?
Yes, Liu Bei was so mad that Zhao Yun risked his life to save Liu Shan that the virtuous Shu lord spiked baby Liu Shan on the ground.
Not sure they'll have that in the game.
Some say it affected him, some say that was just a rumor. Also a rumor that he was retarded but most seem to say he is just lazy and pampers himself. Good ole' Liu Shan. He is a polarizing figure; at first I was annoyed that they added him but he's necessary story-wise, even if he's weak and idiotic.
This week we will be getting some 'small' information. Not sure what this entails, probably not something about a character. Could be a gameplay knowledge, or a video (not likely). I kind of think it might be the box art. We'll see. Sometime throughout the week we might get another leak about the upcoming characters. There will be a Famitsu scan February 2nd / February 3rd (2nd is actually my birthday too – wouldn't it be ironic if Yuan Shu was added on my birthday..)
