October 10, 2007 at 8:49 am #25511Taishi CiParticipantLooks like you’re figuring this out pretty well. How much in-game text have you managed to alter so far?

Nothing, really. I
October 10, 2007 at 9:44 pm #25513Lord Yuan ShuKeymasterWell I think you did a consistent job with the buffs. I think Yuan Shu should be around 200 – 200 STR – INT but that’s just me. Cao Pi takes the cake though, those battles are so damn hard without Ce Mian.
Nice seeing Deng Ai in there. I can see how it’s hard to improve Sima Yi since his soldiers and INT are maxed ( I noticed you did give him some more STR though).
I did see Xiahou Mao and his Ax. He took off 50 every time, it was devastating.

October 11, 2007 at 12:28 am #25515CommieCatGirlParticipantDo you think it’d be possible to make a program specifically designed to edit DoaE? I mean, primarily to modify officer stats.
You have to remember, though; the very thing that makes you a nerd is that your enthusiasms are totally unrelatable and non-marketable to most of the world. For example, anime and celibacy. - Seanbaby
October 11, 2007 at 2:24 am #25516NiahakModeratorIt would definitely be possible. Space would still be limited but the officer stats sections are all standard, really.
You couldn’t really alter game order or anything… that would definitely be out of my league :P but text possibly, officers definitely.
October 11, 2007 at 2:34 am #25517CommieCatGirlParticipantYeah, if I could just edit the officer’s stats, that’d be good enough.

One of the values allows you to determine the level of an officer

October 11, 2007 at 5:31 am #25520Lord Yuan ShuKeymasterYou should upgrade Xu Huang while you’re at it.
I never understood those types of characters. Yan Xun in Wu too…Song Xian in Wei also. You never see them at a gate or castle, yet they show up in random battles and are unrecruitable.
If you can manage it you should try to get Guo Jia and / or Xu Huang in the second Si Ma Yi battle. Though I suppose you can’t replace Rebel Forces…Yang Xiu is good enough to leave in there but does Jiang Gan even exist? Guo Jia could take his place…
Zhong Hui as Zhou Chao – awesome. Zhong Hui would be even better I figured but at 33000 soldiers they’re already monsters.
Just with a few simple modifications you can vastly improve this game :)

Yeah, he needs several more balls.
How about
