Interesting take on the Liu Biao mod. I was thinking the end game stars were gonna be guys like Huang Zhong, Gan Ning, and Kuai Liang.
As cabalpapa alluded to, doing a Liu Biao, Ma Teng, or Gongsun Zan mod would require a lot of fiction after some opening historical events.
If I did Ma Teng or Gongsun Zan I would probably extend the northern (snow) area to make room for more stuff to happen there.
I thought about starting it soon but with the map changes I want to make it would be too much of a pain to do it by hand. Would also be a good test for the map tool whenever it is ready.
Oh man I forgot about Gan Ning serving him. That one I should have known. I vaguely knew Huang Zhong once served him. I was thinking about Kuai Liang, Han Song and Kuai Yue, figured they'd be 200 Int or so tactician types.
Wow that would be sweet to add more snow areas in the game if map editing allowed it…that would definitely be awesome for a Gongsun Zan quest. His mod could have some potential then, we could see what Zhao Yun could pull off with a bunch of mediocre allies.

You know, Liu Biao's domain was doing well up until his death. That said, it'd probably be best for him NOT to replace Liu Bei, but for him to replace Guan Yu or Zhang Fei; old age finally claims him after the Shu area, and Liu Qi or Liu Zong succeeds him.

– Added more portraits, now have close to 100 unique portraits! Every major and sub-major character now has a unique portrait as does almost every general that joins you.
– Tweeked sprite colors
– Changed portrait background colors (no more hot pink or clown barf!)
