Whoops, meant Yan Liang not Yuan Shao. That is definitely Yuan Shao DoaE 2 that you are using.
One more really nasty bug I've encountered. So that road that leads east from the castle when you start, sometimes I fight a Sun Ce ambush and just get mauled because they all have like 4-5k soldiers. This has happened to me three f'n times lol! Couldn't run obviously. It's been hard to save money when I've spent nearly 1000 gold on Resurrects huohu

Not 1 minute after hitting post, I fight the battle a fourth time. This time I'm able to flee! This is the exact spot where the fight happened, though I'm pretty sure I fought it a few squares west of here too (so it may not just be this spot).

Ah, I already for 225 / 217 soldiers for Wen Chou Yan Liang, I'll keep going and just avoid the spot.
Actually just finished up real quick. Looks like I really broke shit here. Went to Tie Men Xia Citadel (Zhang Jao's place), and no one was there but these two knuckleheads).
Then I go to the cave behind Qing Zhou. No brigand huohu
Then I go rest and go to the front gate of Qing Zhou. Only these two guys, and I win huohu
I am absolutely 100% positive this garbage happens after you die, not related to your mod at all. Because the same thing happened with Sonic's mod when I died in the YT area (ie no Brigand in the cave and then no Zhang Bros. at the Qing Zhou gate).

I've got a temporary fix for now. Try this one but you should probably start your game over.

This fix should get you to the end of Jing Zhou. I'll dig in tomorrow to get a more permanent fix.

And I added the Yan Liang and Wen Chou sprites although I'm not a stickler for matching portraits and sprites to DoaE2. If you're anal about that stuff you might be disappointed with many of the upcoming characters :P
Well Yan Liang and Wen Chou are significant enough to get their own sprites I think. Put it this way, I'm downloading the new version pretty much so they can have their own sprites. It bothered me just a tiny bit that Yan Liang had the same sprite as the Yellow Turban generics in the area. Plus (particularly in Wen Chou's case) the sprite fits them well.
Even though our roms are all different, it's nice to have some consistency over the roms.
Man, this rom is a whole lot tougher almost solely because of the agility thing. Lu Bu went first on the first turn and just one-shot killed three of my dudes at Hulao Gate lol. huohu . And it's not like I'm under-leveled, I had Ye Huo / Scorch before beating the Zhang Bros.

Yea, got trounced a few more times. Came back with everyone at the ~330-310 soldier range and was ok. Did help that Lu Bu attacked twice first round and missed both times :) huohu Still a damn hard battle.
Onward ho! Jiang Yiqu recruited and dumped immediately because Chen Lin's INT is too valuable for spamming Ye Huo (and Yuan Tan's exorbitant soldier count can't be dropped).
Just won the Luo Yang battle. Again much tougher with the agility stuff going on. Has Dong Zhuo always had 700 soldiers? This is one of those battles where you're going to run out of TP unless your Ye Huo's are hitting almost every time for ~100 damage (especially with Li Ru salving people).
Tried to kill Liu Bei but ran out of patience save stating. You'd think 200 INT would hit 220 INT a whole lot more often than it actually does. Felt like I was doing 10% and even if I got lucky I had to make sure Liu Bei didn't slaughter me that turn or use Wuo Jian / Recover (both crippling for your chances of completing the battle since TP is limited).

You guys better not have let Sonic Penguin get this agility thing on his rom, it'll be impossible. Penguin probably jacked the rate up so Lu Bu attacks 5 or 6 times per turn with a Halberd at Hu Lao Gate lmao!!! huohu We'd need to pull an FF6 and get Life 3 on the game. Actually, that'd be kind of cool later on. Cast Life 3 on one of your warriors so if they get An Sha-ed, they are revived immediately.
