Lord Yuan Shu
KeymasterNah, too far into this quest to start over I think. Already heading through Wu but taking a break now.

ParticipantA good mod, I'm gonna take it. It has been a long time since the last time I touched DoaE.
DoaE gave birth to Huo Hu.

KeymasterOh right, I think I remember an older member on here saying that you could do that. But sometimes had implications with the rom where the changes were made, though I forget what happens exactly.
Nice to see you around Zhuge Liang :) old friend of :huohu:

ModeratorIronically, I think Yuan Xi may have been the most skilled of the three brothers; he had the best stats in RotK8, and he had the common sense to keep his mouth shut and not start a civil war the way Yuan Tan and Yuan Shang did.
Tao Qian indeed had two sons, Tao Shang and Tao Ying. The details in http://san.pengguo.com/?id=64 aren't 100% accurate, but the last panel does show how effective they would have been. On a side note, kongming.net doesn't include them, which means that they're even less relevant than Song Ren and Song Yong.
Bah, you chickened out! Zhao Yun would not only add the portraits pixel by pixel but would slay off numerous Wei soldiers and Chuck Norris clones while doing so. :Þ

I'm going through the game again after raising the AP/AC of the lower level guys. It should be better now. I may need to increase the difficulty a little more though.

ModeratorTo be fair, Yuan Shao was (arguably) going senile.

ModeratorAnybody get to the final battle yet? My bro's having a hard time with it. After a long hard fought battle I got it on the first try but maybe I got lucky.

ParticipantEh, I just beat Chapter 4. No sweat at all, especially with Lu Bu and Zhang He joining. He acts just like Zhao Yun, with I believe same leveling as well, the only difference being a lack of 16 INT. The trident allows Lu Bu to hit 300-400 per attack, and about 600 with a power pill. I also have Recover/Yin Xian, so that's pretty effective as well. I am wondering, however, when a new tactician joins. I don't know, maybe something 230+ INT? Or maybe it's just my greed. :P

ModeratorNew version… Had to fix the last battle because it was nearly impossible to beat.

Just beat the original version. Didn't have a problem with the last battle; just used Bei Ji on Tian Feng, and then Huo Shen. It hit the tacticians often enough to get it done without wasting too much TP. However I didn't have TP for Ce Mian so I had to pick and choose my spots when to use that. Hard battle but that's a good thing imo.

ModeratorGood job. I beat it the first time but couldn't a few tries after.
My bro (a destiny vet) tried over 20 times before giving up on the last battle. That's no fun…
The new one is still hard but is more winnable. Basically beefed up Guo Jia and Zhang Liao's troops and swapped Xun Yu for Xiahou Dun. Still not easy but at least a little less frustrating.
