KeymasterNo that's fine. Takes me a min to upload it through FTP.
Yea that final battle would be easier with one less awesome tactician to have to worry about.

I'm thinking of creating my own Vietnamese mod ( thanks to Niahak's tools ). But editing portrait generals is still the problem due to my lack of studying about PHP. I would really be a fantastic thing if I could master this trick.
DoaE gave birth to Huo Hu.

Participantlol I think I'm still playing either the first or second version. Didn't really feel like going through the battles all over again, but eh, I want to beat the final battle. *goes to download*

ModeratorYou shouldn't have to start over. Use your existing save state on the latest version.

Keymasterlol, nice.
Yea if you have a minute, definitely make some example replacements for the portraits. That would be very useful.

ParticipantHello All,
I am "Bro". Just want to start and say I loved this sight for a while. I've been giving feedback to this game via phone, but I'll put up some of my thoughts here.
From the original version: Beinging was easy, but not blow through stupid easy. Yuan Shu area was unfortunatley a blow by, but historicly speaking, I'm not sure how beefy you can make the generals since he didn't really have a great deal of talent around him. His biggest resources seemed to be his allies. I'm thinking leave the base stats alone but beef up the soldier counts and equipment.
The Guan Yu/Zhang Fei fight in Jing Zhou (Liu Bei invades) I though could use some love. I suggested adding Zhao Yun to that fight. When I went through I already had "remove" and just removed the both of them. Cake walk.
Going in to Wu was rough. The castle fights were great! Walking around was DANGEROUS! This was my favorite part of the game. The final Wu area fight (not giving it away yet to those still testing/playing) was painfully brutal but very do-able. Didn't feel right, but it was a lot of fun.
My only big beef was the original final fight with Cao Cao, Xun Yu, Guo Jia, Zhang Liao and Xu Chu. While it is possible to win this fight, I think it became more about the random number generator (luck) than skill. You have 3 Inferno guys, 2 Remove Guys, 2 Evade guys, 2 Revive and a Thwart. Not to mention the pounding you get from Chu and Liao. I know the idea was to have Evade, Thwart, Remove and a hitter in this fight, but the tripple inferno was a killer to deal with. I suggested moving Xun Yu (not An-Sha-Able) to the intro fight and putting another meat shield in the final.
Other than all that, great game. Had loads of fun. Great job brother.
Now I just need to talk you in to making/finding tools for RotK 1.

ParticipantWell… I'm just through Chapter 5 lol.
Sun Jian and all his minions were pretty easy, all-outed as soon as the leader or the one with Recover was dead. As well, I also have Doubt/Yi Xin, so basically all the brawn but no brain guys just get to do nothing while I beat them up with power pills. Zhang Yan at first sight was holy shit, but Yi Xin basically left him with no chance at all to strike. Love how you did the Heishan Bandits. Pity Lu Bu left, but Zhang Yan joined with better stats imo, so yeah.

ParticipantSo uh I got Tian Feng.
Which means Ju Shou is inferior to him, though I did like Ju Shou's portrait better. :P
My party consists now of:
Zhang Yan
Yan Liang
Wen Chou
Tian Feng*
Zhang He
