Nowadays, I think Geddoe is infinitely cooler, but back when I first played this I really wanted Hugo to be ballin’ because he was JRPG HERO 101 and I preferred that to the others. He reminds me of McDohl and Hero the most of the 3 though.

Also, Geddoe seems a whole lot like Viktor. Viktor was very FLEXX.

I always played every chapter available in an order I determined before starting the game. I’ve always kind of wanted to go back and try playing the entire storyline for a single character first.

as much as I love 2d, I never much cared for Suikoden graphics. still though, they had some really nifty spell effects!

the Trinity Sight System was nice, even if the game was sort of sux compared to 2. the Luc chapter was ballin’ also.

I hate how you had to wait until you could play as that one LEVELS 1 jackass (whatever his name was) before you can get the castle

also Elohim is one of the bosses in 2 (and maybe 1?), which alone makes SMT an incredible series
