Dreamcast, and personally, I liked it better than that Skies of Arcadia people always call BEST GAYME EVER HIDDEN GEM A++. Although I finished that too. Also yes probably my favorite Dreamcast game.
Ikaruga is hella ballin’.

I generally like non-linearity as well but hey I finished FFX and Grandia 2 twice each and they’re the most linear games ever, so!

That’s the main thing for me too. There’s just something about FFX’s story and story-driven-ness that even though Tidus is a titty baby you still just feel like you’re playing a great gayme.
I thought it was pretty decent and had a nice atmosphere for the 2 hours I spent with it on Gamecube, but then I got a wii and the wii version and I just hated going through the long intro stuff again. Always meant to try it again but never have. So yeah, I go around saying I dislike it but really I never gave it enough of a chance! Oh well, I don’t feel like I’m missing much.
edit: and nate still has my gamecube copy so

A lot of RPGs tend to make me think "man, I sure loved FFX a lot more than this", so I guess FFX was pretty good, imo. Or maybe I just played it with all the right nostalgia factors in place, iuno.
