Right now I’m going to break up the walkthrough into seperate chapters so you can divide them on the main page and not have one massive block like I’ve got now.
THE YELLOW SCARVES REBELLION: Covers the prologue with the Yellow Scarves
THE RISE OF CAO CAO: Covers Xuzhou and Jizhou
TURMOIL IN JINGZHOU: Covers all the various tasks in Jingzhou
BATTLE ON THE CHANG JIANG: Covers Wu and Chi Bi
ASSUALT ON HANZHONG: Covers from when you leave Wu to after you kill Cao Cao
THE WEI CAMPAIGN: Covers the final areas
Also, since I have no idea what the weapons and armor names are, I’m just designating them "X, X 2.0, X 3.0" and so forth. If anyone wants to come up with proper names, feel free.
I too have Spring Break. And yes, I have nothing better to do on my Monday morning than post on this board.
I did the investigation with the drunk guy and finished that, but they took off and left me in Raftfleet. Can I still go back to Rainwall and get them or do they move around?
I got it on Saterday, but I’ve got a lot of free time.
Is there anyone I can miss recruitment-wise? I didn’t want to use any walkthroughs my first run-through.

Do you ever get a Tablet of Stars or something similar? I just talked to the Island Nations admiral and I haven’t gotten it.

On the subject of writing guides, when you get around to making guides for the other Suikodens feel free to ask me for help (unless it’s 1 or 4).

My two cents…
5=2>3>Tactics
From what I’ve played, 5 really feels like 2 in 3D. 3 is different from them, but it has its own charm, I like to play it now and then.
Tactics obviously isn’t in the same genre, but it seemed to lack something. FF Tactics did the same genre with better gameplay.
I still need to get my hands on 1, just because I want to have Tir McDohl and Recipe #39 in 2. Also, if you are really comparing 4 to Beyond the Beyond, I’ll make sure to stay far, far away from it.
I guess SKOB just forgot that minor detail. It wouldn’t be quite as bad if they had single-versions of Sleep and Confuse, I think they’re all multi-target.
I can tell you that Suikoden Tactics was pretty good, but not outstanding. Also for FF4 Advance, I’ve heard they obliterated the difficulty. I haven’t played the others, but I would pick Grandia 3 if it’s anything like Grandia 2 (a good game).

I might not be working on it for a couple of days, though, as I have just acquired my own copy of Suikoden V.
I’m using Broadband on Firefox, whenever the mose goes over the Site Map it has to wait for it to load.
