Yuan Shu mod is impossible because the iron for the swords in Mt. Gang Tai was already open despite me never exploring there. oh well

Hello. I have not played in 2 weeks and am trying to figure out what to do. I got the Iron ore and recruited Ma chao and now I’m pretty sure I have to recruit tian feng. I go to his house and his sister says he’s not home so I go to the very start of the game village but there is no such house and the village is completely different. Can you please help me with clues or just tell me where to recruit Tian feng now? I can’t progress the game anymore because when I try to go further it puts me behind a war camp instead of forward. Probably because I don’t have Tian Feng or something
Is Luo Sang village not the place where you start the game? no one in the starting village tells me the name of the place.
Is there something wrong with Zhang he’s troop count? I read the forums a bit and you all talk about him like he’s an effective unit but he has a piddly amount of troops at this point of the game, like 2300 at level 28 compared to generals I want to replace like Wen chou with 3400. Yuan Xi has 5500, over twice as much. How can Zhang he be effective if he can be wiped out so quickly and not have enough troops to do any damage?
I’m sorry I tried really hard to find the monk in YiJing and I just can’t. I tried walking through every bush, going in every house, going to the sides of the city (can’t, as soon as I touch the white snow I leave the city), searching around the wells, talking to everyone multiple times and searching in around the palace. I can’t find the monk. Maybe his house is no longer there with the map update? I’m at a loss.
Hello! I’m enjoying the mod but I seem to be stuck. It might even be a bug? After defeating Gongsun Zan I’m told to find a monk in the castle (I’m guessing I need him to get rid of the water in that cave?) but I absolutely cannot find him! I found the hidden bow by the well, I tried going around the city, I went around the city on the world map looking for this monk but I can’t find anything. Please help? great mod btw! I look forward to playing more if I can get past this. version 3.03
