Honeysday
Southwest of the exit is the town of Honeysday. A save bird will be in area 1 and then you’ll see a Silver Moon Duplicator Chest in area 2, just to your left. The other side of town. You’ll learn about the Gobs from the Cafe Owner. You’ll also hear of the Monowheel but the Gobs stole the Spark Plug to run it.
In the southeast part of town is an EVA Apple shining on the ground. Near this are Duplicator x2 and Dragon Fossil. Go up the middle structure and search for a Neutrino Medal and Nightburn’s huge house.
Meisis
– Northwest of Honesday is the Meisis station. You can learn about Puzzle Boxes and Sol Niger’s here.
Southeast Filgaia has the usual lot of treasures. You’ll find a Dragon Fossil (x 773 y 425), Duplicator x5 (x 73250 y 410), 2000 Gella (x 843 y 374), Gella Card x3 (x 899 y 418), Duplicator x5 (x 877 y 328), Dragon Fossil (x 817 y 223), Berserker Badge (x 80850 y 171), 5000 Gella (x 886 y 181), Prism Staff (x 934 y 276), Ninja Badge (x 916 y 378), Dispel (x 759 y 101), Tent x5 (x 685 y 7850), Gunstar Sign (Duplicator – x 695 y 106), Agony Effect (x 768 y 260), Land Steal (x 709 y 385), Isolate (x 577 y 414), and Item Scope (x 710 y 319).
Desecrated Shrine
You’ll see a Gob as you enter. You’re going to need to shoot him with fire bullets to get him to light the switch.
Enter the southeast room in area 2 to reach area 3. Grab the Duplicator x2 and some Antidote in the jars.
In area 4 you have another Goblin to shoot with Fire Bullets. Also though you need to look up to the left and shoot that torch manually. Now you can enter and grab the Gella Card. Go up the stairs and shoot a jar for a Neutrino Medal.
In area 5 you’ll see a Gob standing where the statues are. Shoot it with a freeze bullet to get by to Area 6. In this area, turn right and shoot the crate to get rid of the Goblin. Shoot the jars for a Revive Fruit and then jump on the switch.
Use the freeze gun on the Goblin in area 7 and get the Dragon Fossil. Area 8 has a crate you need to freeze, and then fire bullet the goblin to get the switch to go off.
Soon you will come to some Gobs. Two Shotel Gobs and an Axe Gob to be exact. You’re going to want to gang up on the former two in hopes of defeating them by the time the Axe Gob gets near you. Nothing really hard here although they halve your magic attacks in most leys. A HIT Apple is your reward if you end in the north-most hex.
Before you jump down in this area, shoot that blue crystal with your normal ARM. This opens the left door in area 2, allowing you to enter area 10.
Grab the Lucky Card and freeze the Gobs you see. Shoot the jars for 429 Gella and a Potion Berry in the next room. Climb the ladder just left of the entrance. Get the gella and the 7500 Gella nearby in a chest. Before you get on the blue switch, move the two center boulders onto the glyph so that when you step on the switch they both fall. Drop back down to floor 11. There are two switches the boxes must be pushed onto to continue.
Get the Medicine x5 and watch around the corner to the left for the Gob. You need to freeze him from a bit away so he doesn’t spot you. Next room, shoot the crate to destroy the gob. Area 15 has a couple of Goblins to freeze. Grab the Moonstone and Stake Driver (duplicator), and then take the ladder to exit area 16.
Up here is another duplicator chest – Emblem Vest. Again you’re going to want to push the blocks onto the glyphs before you hit the blue switch. Climb back down the ladder and push the blue blocks onto the switches to continue on. Continue on, using the Freeze Gun on the goblins along the way.
In area two, climb the ladder to the left of you and then save. The Sol Niger here has some powerful attacks and can absorb anything but Water (which he’s weak against). You’re going to need to get off Ley Change with Avril so that you can get the water ley spot available. Do your best to survive the first few turns until you have the force to use Ley Change. A Mega Berry is your reward if you’re on the northeast hex.
Be sure to save because this boss has some tricks up his sleeve. This is the boss gob, Boss Olivier. He is strong against every element so only use magic when you are not on a ley point. Also, if it gets on any ley point, it will restore it’s HP. You do not want this to happen ever obviously, so use Shut Out. Or just move on the ley points and start attacking, isolating him without a spell. The bad part about this is he can cast Disease on hexes that you are trying to hold. Regardless, Hi Blast and Heavy Crush are still effective enough especially considering Olivier’s attacks aren’t that powerful. More of a strategic fight than a show of brute force (though you’ll be using plenty of physical attacks). If you can somehow manage to get to the northeast hex you’ll get a Duplicator.
After the battle, several scenes with mediums, and then you get two Blank Mediums of your own and the Spark Plug.
Honeysday
Back in Honeysday, you’ll be served by Lucille. You also get the Call Whistle from her so that you can use the Monowheel in the world map. Before you leave there will be some scenes with Chuck.
Meisis
You probably have stopped bere before, but if not it is northwest of Honeysday. Some Veruni Soldiers fight you as you enter. There are four of them, but their attacks don’t pose too much of a problem. Have your Heavy Crush / Hi Blast members stay on the Wind ley point and cast away. If you can finish on the northwest hex, the fire ley spot, you’ll get a Duplicator after winning. Try to save some MP however.
Fereydoon
is here to see what’s going on. He challenges a member to a duel, and Chuck steps up. Not a battle he’ll win, though.Back in Honeysday, talk to the Rascally Youth to get the Humpty Dumpty egg. You need to make it back to Laila Belle without engaging in battle basically (though escaping right away works too). Monowheel is obviously the easiest way to do this. And don’t forget to set the encounters off in the cave to the Laila Belle part of Filgaia. Return to the guild with the Humpty Dumpty intact and you’ll receive Ambrosia, Frey Amulet, and 3000 Gella.
Since you are in north east Filgaia, there are some Puzzle Boxes to get (remember the guy in Meisis talking about them?) In the southwest (x 619 y 650) you’ll find one that nets you Great Apple x3. One more in this area (x 873 y 653) that yields a Fish Badge.
Mt. Chug Chug
Back to southeast Filgaia. Go to the west, snowy part where the mark on the map is. As you enter, you’ll see a worker and then a boss, the Kobold. Physical attacks and Crush ability’s do not work at all here. You’ll have to rely on Hi Blast (on the Wind Ley Spot) for maximum damage. Finish the battle on the northeast hex for a Duplicator.
After winning you will get the Chug Chug Key. Chuck joins you for now. Use the key to get to area 2.
Shoot the jars for 127 Gella and a Hi Fire. Go for the east exit to area 3. You can’t get the first chest but if you shoot the crate you can get the second chest – Lucky Card.
Look to the southwest in area 2 to see the area 4 entrance. Another inaccessible treasure in area 5 and the exit in the northeast. Lots of fences in area 6 and another chest you can’t get. Fortunately there is an Item Scope that you can get, and a switch to jump on to continue.
Some scenes with the prisoners at area 8. In area 9, you’ll want to climb down the two ladders, or just jump down. Climb the other ladder for Duplicator x, then you’re going to want to drop down and take the lower exit.
In area 13 you’ll find 237 Gella on the ground, a Potion Berry and Mega Berry x5. Jump attack the cart so it goes into the elevator, and take it up. Break some more jars in area 14 for this dungeon’s Neutrino Medal. You’ll notice some ladders in the middle – go up one of them for Revive Fruit x3. To continue though, you’re going to want to press the switch where the cart is, and then go to the cart. See the level (flip that around with the left analog). Climb up the other ladder and you can push the cart through the top level and get the King’s Crown.
Here is where it gets tricky. Change the course by shooting the thing in the middle, and then send the cart back where it came. Hit it again and this time it’ll go through the other door. Go back to the lift and lower the platforms, and then you can hit the cart to the other elevator and take it up.
Hit the switch and the cart will go to another platform on the new floor. Use the lift again and slide attack the cart. However once you get to the end of the tracks Chaos will surface. This creature is weak against Earth so do your best to hold out that position and spam Hi Blast and Heavy Crush. However those are the favorite ability’s of Chaos also. If you can manage to get to the north position you can get an ATK Apple. Chaos rarely moves though. Get the Power Shot cartridge near you and continue on.
The Sol Niger in the next room might be the easiest one yet. Just get on the wind ley point and cast Heavy Crush and Hi Blast, and it could die just from those two alone. Try to get Dean to the north point to get a Full Revive after the battle. Northeast to exit area 3.
Hit the second switch on the other side of the fence in area 16. If you don’t step on the yellow squares, you can get to the Frey Amulet duplicator chest. The other switch leads to the exit. Smash through everything with the Power Cartridge. Drop down and climb the opposite ladder in the next room to get the Ebony Shadow.
Do a jump attack on the switch above that you see, and then some big important scenes. This upcoming boss fight is one of the hardest you’ve faced yet, and likely the first few turns will be extremely hard to survive. Nightburn has ridiculous RES and his gun attack will do about 1000. Not to mention you’ll likely be isolated right away. Wipe out the Veruni Infantrymen as quick as possible. You’re definitely going to want to pull off a Ley Change when possible so that you can get the fire ley spot available – burning Nightburn is the way to go.
Oh wait, the next battle is the hardest one yet. A one on one duel and you can assume who it’s between. Most people will likely be unprepared or out of MP to win this battle the first time through, but Nightburn is a bit weaker this time around. However he does use Gravitron for half damage. Use your best berry’s to stay alive, though my Dean had the Sea Medium so that was a bit of a help. That way is a lot more time consuming than being able to use Crush or Hi Blast on the fire ley spot (it was a 30 minute battle for me and my mega / potion berry supply has dwindled).
Some more crazy scenes and you get the Class A License to ride around the trains like a big shot. Return to the Chug Chug Mountain, specifically area 8 where the cells were. There are flashing things – Hi Break, Hi Devastate and Revive Fruit. You can also get the Arctic Blade in area 6 with your power gun.
Honeysday
Back at Honeysday, Duo is already here. He hints that you should go to Twelbit.
The Bowtie Boy in town is missing his cat. Agree to find it and then leave for Meisis.
Meisis – Alcedonia
Check it out, you can ride the train now. You’re looking for Alcedonia, southwest Filgaia. Also realize that with the Power ARM and the Puzzles unlocked you can go back to past areas and search around for various items you can get. In this part of Southwest Filgaia you can find Hyper (x 412 y 345), Gella Card x5 (duplicator – x 440 y 395), 10000 Gella (x 326 y 340), Gold Sun (x 349 y 237), Fast Gunman (x 362 y 276), Duplicator x5 (x 375 y 214), Speed Skates (duplicator – x 256 y 21950), and Laurel Crown (x 304 y 153)
Twelbit
Twelbit is in the northwest, marked on the map. For now though, I’m going to go back through the other areas. To continue with the walkthrough, type in ctrl f – Twelbit.
Cavam Valley
First of all, there is a puzzle box in the far south part of Filgaia. At (x 330 y 516) you will find Mega Berry x5.
As you enter Mirapulse you will see the Agitated Hunter. You’ll hear about Harmonde and Greg gets interested. Since you’re near, go to area 16 of the Abandoned Path to find React Plus (power ARM chest). The Lightless Shaft has two similar chests, a Dragon Fossil (area 2) and Potion Berry x3 (area 13). The latter probably isn’t worth the treck, extra dragon fossil’s are always welcome though.
The other part of northwest Filgaia (Orsaeos) should be your destination. The puzzle box in the northeast yields Ambrosia x3 (x 395 y 894).
Since you are nereby, go to the Temple of Rejection. Use the fire ARM on the two white crystals and then go to area 17. You will get a Gella Card and a Bad Omen.
Gounon
is a short trip west. At the winery you can get Fresh Apple Wine if you rotate the L analog stick.
Protectas
Let’s continue clockwise to Protectas. You are to go to Laila Belle. Get the Ebony Key from the Handyman. Give the Corporate Peon the Apple Wine and you’ll get Blank Medium x3.
Since you have the Ebony Key, talk to the Green-Haired Fugitive at Mithysmere. Try to take him back to Laila Belle (first option) but he’ll disappear.
To find him, go to the nearby Starlit Path, and head to area 11. You’ll see the Green-Haired Fugitive, who again escapes.
Head for Provectas and then Cavam Valley. You are to run through the Abandoned Valley until you reach this area of Southwest Filgaia. Two more puzzles to go through, one yielding a boon in 3 Dragon Fossils (x 156 y 414) and then 5 Full Revives (x 198 y 21050).
Celestial Peak
Northwest in this area is Celestial Peak. Go to area 9 – you can shoot the boulders and continue east. Continuing on, you’ll find a Dragon Fossil in area 14, Mega Berry x3, Cordyceps x2 in area 17, and Slow Down.
Hillside Ruins
Leave and head southeast for the Hillside Ruins. In area 7 you’ll find your old friend Zed, the Green Haired Fugitive. He flees but at least he drops a Blank Medium this time. You can enter that south door if you use the fire ARM on the torches near it. There is 14 Gella and a Neutrino Medal in area 8 here.
Area 9 is next. Take the first south path you see for Nectar x5. Then, back in area 9, use the Detection ARM to find the floor panels to cross. Bring the block over and set it on the switch of course.
Area 11 has a strange door to the north. You need 221500 Gella (think Wild Arms 3) to go through. Lots of treasures within. Nothing you can do in the other area (area 13).
Capo Bronco
Get the Nightburn poster in your house. You can also go to the silver parakeet since you have 12 Neutrino Medals now (Duplicator x2 and Blank Medium x2).
Get the chicks in the jars (near Tony’s place, in your house, and near the shop). Return them to the forgetful man for a Hen Badge. This doubles EXP gained, very useful. Talk to the shopkeeper here (use the talk option literally) and accept her quest. She gives you Fried Chicken to feed her lover.
Return back through the north pass, and then to Cavam Valley. Take this to Alcedonia, and then Twelbit. The first big guy you see as you come in is the guy who needs the Fried Chicken. Don’t look too much into this town, it’s where we need to go next but there are more side quests to finish up.
Back to Alcedonia. You have to go to both northwest Filgaia stops (Cavam Valley and Orsaeos). Take the latter and then go to Gounan. Speak with the girl to your left, Paladienne, since you’ve talked to her brother. You will get two Blank Mediums and a Gold Nightingale.
Take Cavam Valley next, and then go to the Lightless Shaft. At the end of this is Zed again, the Green Haired Fugitive. He escapes again but next time, you’ll catch him. Sure enough, go to the Celestial Peak, area 18. Zed is at the very top, and gives you the Doom Bringer. This is a really powerful weapon for Chuck.
Return all the way to Provectas (through Cavam Valley), and eventually Laila Belle. The Handyman who gave you the Ebony Key will reward you with a Blank Medium (as if we need more).
Since you are near Mithysmere, go there and talk to the kid in the middle of town near the well. He’s the one who loves Nightburn, and since you have the Nightburn Poster from your room you can give it to the kid (and get Duplicator x2 and Blank Medium x2 in return).
Alcedonia – Twelbit
Back to Alcedonia, then east to Twelbit, our destination.
There is a duplicator chest just to the left as you walk in for Laurel Crown. Further north for Duplicator x4, the bakery shop, and an exit. to area 2. Right as you enter, look right for a duplicator chest (11000 Gella) and 7500 gella. Make sure to drop in 1000 gella in the water fountain to make “the atmosphere change a little”. You can get a Bronze Moon or Bronze Sun from one of the girl’s on the north side of the fountain.
Also on area 2, go to the screenwriter (Emma). You can hug the street lights and climb up them, and just above her is a Neutrino Medal and a HIT Apple at the end.
Lucille
is nearby, and she works for Lady Diana and the Rygs Family. Evidently if you find the Le Ciel Bleu in the Southern Desert you can talk to Lady Diana about Johnny Appleseed.Far to the south of Twelbit, you’ll see a blustery desert. At the oasis, search at the end of the bridge (you’ll need to get off the Monowheel). You do indeed find the Le Ciel Bleu, so hurry back to Twelbit.
Show the flower to Lucille and you’ll end up talking to Lady Diana. She mentions Locus Solus but eventually Fereydoon returns back early. He catches you.
Begin to run away, and in area 2 you’re going to need to jump and shoot the top part of the chandelier with the power arm, and then you can jump down and take the northeast door. Keep running until area 4. In this area you’ll notice a spot on the floor that goes down. Use the jump attack and you’ll fall down.
Isolated Path
Persephone
is down here however. Rebecca and Persephone duel. Rebecca will get cremated. At least you’re allowed to flee.
A save point is right here in area 6. Return to area 5 for Landing Bomb and Gella Card. Further ahead (area 6)are some jars and the Neutrino Medal.
The duplicator chest at the end of area 7 is a Fish Badge. Use the L analog to rotate the fan 360 degrees, which opens the door. Area 8 is tricky – you need to shoot both blocks with the power cartridge, and then enter area 9. You’re going to need to rotate the fans just a little so that they blow the smaller fans. You can get Devastate and Water in area 10. Again, move those big fans to blow the smaller ones to open the door. Area 11 has a Lucky Card, Dragon Fossil, and Leather Jacket (duplicator). As you try to move farther, you are disrupted by Elbucky.
Elbucky likes to use Misery attacks. This turns you into a cat, and you are not allowed to move. Elbucky also acts fast and has decent attacks. You’ll want to camp out at the Water ley spot and use Heavy Crush. Might as well stay here because you get a RES Apple for finishing on the water ley spot.
As you leave this place, you’ll see a scene with the Professor talking about the VR Factor.
Twelbit
Head to area 2 of the town for a scene. Head to Mirapulse quick. Talk to the first guy past the memory bird and he mentions a way of getting to the southeast. A new marker should be on your map, so travel southeast of Cavam Valley to get there.
Decrepit Path
Grab the Gella Card and head to area 2. Use the Detector right away so you can find the platforms and jump to area 4. The platforms in this room will allow you to jump all the way east, to area 5.
Again, the detector needs to be used and then run ahead. Get the Speed Queen (power shot), but the regular chest you see is an Imitator. This one is weak against Water, so get on the water ley spot and start spamming your spells. You’ll get the Radical Denim for your victory. To go on to the next area, you are going to have to fire the gun.
In area 7, you need to jump attack both switches to open the gates. Of course, push the block onto the blue switch and enter the door.
Get the Neutrino Medal and then take a right to area 9. Look just to the left of you for an Imitator chest. Again, get on the Water ley spot and bombs away. Your reward is a Shining Dress this time. On the other side is a duplicator chest (Lucky Card). If you walk to the middle of this room, you’ll have a fight on your hands.
Lots of toy enemies. A Toy Chopper, Toy Bomber and Toy Ripper to be exact. It’s best to have a Moon Medium user so you can gather the three of them on either the fire or water ley point. The fire ley point is where you’ll find the ATK Apple at the end. Two of them are weak against water though while the other is weak against fire – rotate off and on, gathering the enemies accordingly.
Shoot the jars in area 9 for a Potion Berry and then continue on to area 10. Use the power shot to get the 12000 Gella chest.
The torches in area 11 will require you to stand at an angle that allows you to shoot sets of two in a line. Grab the Hi Vortex in this area in area 12 and soon enough you’ll be back in area 8. There is a Dragon Fossil across the detector bridge, and then look north for the exit. Area 14 has Fire in a jar.
A few rooms later and you’ll find Heart Leaf (area 16) and save point. This is good because a boss is in area 17. Prisnum is weak against wind and you can probably spare the time to steal a Castle Wall from it. Most of it’s attacks won’t do more than 1000 damage, though Heavy Crush can be a problem depending on ley points. Psychedelicer can be a burden if you’re all in his way. Worse yet, it reflects magic like Hi Blast. However Heavy Crush works on him, and if you use Ley Change you can use it on the wind ley point. If you end the battle on the water ley spot, you’ll get a Duplicator.
Go straight and take the path left of you to area 13. The regular chest is another Imitator, which you use should spells on the water ley spot against. You’ll get a Hard Jumper. The duplicator chest nearby is a Castle Wall. Last but not least, destroy the Sol Niger here. This is another Sol Niger that is strong against all the elements, so avoid ley spots. Physical attacks don’t do that much damage either. You really don’t have many options besides Hi blast on non-ley spots and group attacks.
Harmonde
Not too big of an area to explore here on the world map. There is a duplicator chest though at x 392 y 599, it is Dark Isolate.
As you enter Harmonde, you’ll see it burning and Joseph. Immediately you are thrusted into battle against some Veruni Soldiers. They will use Swing Down and Execute for mediocre damage. Continue to use Gather and then get on the wind ley spot for maximum spell damage. You get a Duplicator for ending on the wind ley spot anyway. This battle is tougher than you think though.
Kartikeya
is here. He’ll smoke Greg, and then some scenes.Get the Lucky Card chest, and then the Neutrino Medal in the northeast. On the far west dock you’ll find some Speed Skates (duplicator). The Charity Coordinator is around here. The goal is to give her around 100,000 Gella. You’ll get some nice rewards yourself along the way, but you likely won’t want to commit that much right now. Especially with a shop around with new stuff.
In area 2, look for an alley to go left and get Duplicator x5. a RFX Apple and Magic Pot are to the south beach here. Last but not least, go to the southeast corner to get 9000 gella. The lobster sign in the southwest can be moved if you slide on it. Get the Gella Card once you do this.
Train
Go to Cavam Valley through the Decrepit Path. Take the train anywhere and after some scenes you’ll find yourself in a battle against a Standard Model Golem. This thing is strong against all magic pretty much, so you’ll have to make due with physical attacks. Though combo attacks like Lightning Fang and Corona Fall will be your best bets.
Laila Belle
Head over to Laila Belle since it’s near. A quick scene with the familiar dude who had the golem going after you.
Mithysmere
Remember the four-altar part of area 10? This is where Kartikeya is waiting. And some others.
Another big golem is here to kill you in the Veruni Base. But you can do anything as long as you don’t give up. Lots of scenes.
The Mayflower
Explore around the ship and save. Talk to Captain Bartholomew and then go downstairs to him to enter Avril’s mind.
Memory Maze
Just go through the crystals and absorb the plot. As you get to area 7, avoid the avril statues by going behind them. Save at the save point and go through the crystals in area 8.
Area 12 is tricky. You need to maneuver around the Avril statues so that the level doesn’t reset. An LVL Apple and Full Revive. A part of this area though is where the real Ice Queen appears. Not a battle you can win, and Avril will be gone afterwards.
When you regain control in area 12, travel up the path to get to the crystal. To avoid the Avril Statues in area 13, you’ll need to jump down past them at first and then use the Detector. Get the Ambrosia before you hit the crystal.
Avoid the stationary and moving statues. In area 15, go to the left Avril and declare her the real one. Then a battle with the Ice Queen Avril ensues. She is definitely not as powerful, but still likes to use her Begone! tactic. Hi Blast is troublesome however. Try to steal the Holy Grail from her. As for attacks on her, you’ll notice most magic is not that powerful against her. Combo attacks like Lightning Fang are good like usual. Once Ice Queen Avril starts nearing her death she’ll begin to use Mega Berry’s – all the more reason to spam combo attacks. Just be careful with her Hi Blast attack that can take off over 2000 on some characters.
Once the ordeal is over, you’ll hear about Cradle, and will acquire Giant’s Ocarina and Asgard.
