The Commodore 64 thread inspired this one. Who here had an Atari 2600? What were your favorite games?
My favorite was the first RPG ever! Adventure

Stealing this description: "Adventure is often credited as both the first action-adventure game on consoles and as the first widely-known game to feature an Easter egg. Though it was inspired by Colossal Cave Adventure – a text-based computer game – the Atari 2600 game shares very little in common with it. Adventure is entirely its own… well, adventure.
In the game, the player navigates a series of screens in order to find and return an enchanted chalice to the gold castle. There are multiple items hidden throughout the world, such as swords and the keys needed to unlock the castles, as well as monsters to defeat. There are even dragons named Yorgle, Grundle, and Rhindle that will eat the player if they come in contact with them."
You were a little square that wondered around using keys to open castles while avoiding dragons that looked like ducks. The ultimate goal was to return the chalice (the shiny flashy trophy looking thing) to the gold (yellow) castle.
