So yeah, I just finished the Mt Bur-Omisace stuff… and geez, there are a lot of sidequests now. I’m debating whether I want to try them (I completed every one I could do while Larsa was still around, since he could heal me for free)… since the last set were all really tough, even cheesing berserk, haste, and quickenings as much as I could.
Not to mention my roommate passed me up. He started playing last week and he’s already further than I am :P
ya i got burned out by the 15 monsters that open up after the stilshrine of miriam. the storyline parts were cool up to that point though and the judge in bur-omisace was pretty tough.

Well Quickenings can be attained whenever, it’s obviously just dependent on the direction of each character. 3 is probably pretty normal at that point..
As for the level, 24 might be a bit high but Raithwall isn’t a bad place to be ahead of the game.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingI’m trying to defeat a Demon Wall that is optional, the reward could be a deathbringer (If my memory is correct), but each time I fail doing Ark blast with my quickenings… After that, he just telega everyone, even Vossler! That bastard!

You can fiddle with the torches on the sides of the platform to try and stop him for a bit. Some of them speed him up though.
The sword you’re looking for is a Demonsbane. Beat both Walls and check the jewel behind the first one to open up the area it’s in.
Great! Finally got my ark blast! Vaan has now the demonsbane, thx.
EDIT: Treasures re-appear in this game, is it possibles to get many demonsbane, or is it obligated to be only once?

You can get as many Demonsbane’s as you want if you have the luck and the patience. I know that most of the chests in the game have a list of items they might contain (say, Gold/Knot of Rust/Demonsbane) and one of them is picked at random each time you check the chest. And since chests respawn, you could just keep coming back for more.
Some of the unique items only spawn once, though.
Hum… yeah, like the Zodiak Spear in the Necrohol of Nabudis, it seems there’s a "Don’t take some treasures" conditions for getting the ultimate spear, anyone knows where it is?

The condition is that if you open any of a dozen treasure chests, then the location of the spear will be randomized. So if you don’t open any of them, then the location is known and you can grab it and get out of there. Apparently this is an issue because the dungeon is really, really tough. I haven’t gotten that far myself, I just heard this from a friend who got it yesterday.

Well I got the Demonsbane but that battle was way too easy for where I’m at now and in turn the weapon is about 20 ATP less than the Platinum Swords I currently have.
Anyway, for you folks that are farther than I (level 35 – just before Sochen Cave), have you beat Queklain? It seems I can’t defeat this Esper.

Oh, and I found out you just don’t get the Zodiac spear at all if you’ve opened certain chests. Lame.

I’m going to ignore these bosses for now like Mindflayr Bomb King Queklain and Adrammelech but I fear I’ll go back to them when they’re too easy like the Evil Wall and then it won’t be fun.
I don’t know what rank I’m at I’m busy fighting in Zertinan Caverns but I’ve completed 17 marks according to my primer
