ParticipantHmmm… There are quite afew Generic Items, eh?
Any plans to add the store items to the list, I only see the speacial items. Newcommers would be confused as to what the storebought gloves/shields do at first glance. I already know though since I’ve play’d through the Evil Storyline.

ParticipantThe store’s items barely ever change. They probably changed about 6 times throughout the 40 or my chapters of the game. The weapons are self explanatory, but I guess the gloves and shields could use some explanation. The gloves increase accuracy while the shields increase dodge percentage.

ParticipantThe generic gloves usually upgrade along with the generic weapons.

ParticipantI just downloaded the game and this time, I’m trying hard to beat the game straight off the bat without cheats.
So far, I’m in the 1st Battle of Pu Yang. Anybody need tips on the game?
I think I have found the way to lure Dong Zhuo out in the Battle of Hu Lao Gate, but you will need a ranged archer with max morale stats equipped with the Imperial Seal.

ParticipantWell if we have any LoCC players around here they haven’t been very vocal, so… Don’t know if anyone needs help right now.
I have never tried to draw out Dong Zhuo at Hu Lao before. If you find a good way to do it, I’ll make sure to stick it in the guide and credit you for it.

ParticipantMy plan was originally to kill Li Ru in one shot by a maxed out archer. But it is highly impossible without the use of cheats because, 1, Xiahou Yuan cannot have that much range even when it is maxed out, 2, you do not have a foot archer, and 3, it is virtually impossible without cheats.
That was my plan of drawing out Dong Zhuo.

ParticipantCan you kill him with cheats, though? Does he have a death quote?

ParticipantI don’t think it’s even possible. The game’s going to be hard if you plan on doing something that’s impossible in the first place.

ParticipantThere’s a save file editor, but it’s in Chinese.

InactiveAh, still link please, I’m sure I can figure it out :P
EDIT: Never mind, found it.
Thank god it’s one of those stuff-around editors, I know how to use it now, just have to figure out how to translate the stats and stuff to English.
But for some reason, the officers names show up in Hangul (Korean)? O.o

ParticipantYes. Taishi Ci, I would like to point out that in LoCC, Lu Bu chose to die in order to save Diao Chan.
I found this game interesting in that Lu Bu was portrayed as a loving man who would do anything to protect his true love Diao Chan.
Lu Bu wasn’t the coward that he was in both real life and in the novel.

ParticipantIt was also one of the worst part of the game. Lu Bu was a coward in the novel and history. They turned it into some sappy love story. Diao Chan never actually loved Lu Bu, let alone Lu Bu would die for her.

ParticipantThanks to Lady Wu and her English translation patch, I can now play this game. As I am one of those guys who likes to get his units levelled up, I will enjoy the challenge provided by a game that raises the enemies abilities in accordance with my own.

ParticipantDepends really, I prefer to balance out with whoever is important later on. Those who are not are left out…. O wait, I have to level up Cao Hong. He’s useful in Mt. Ding Jun and Wei Shui/Wei Bing.
