ParticipantThanks for the summary. Which battle is that Zhao Yun duel from, though?

ParticipantBTW, I’m still trying to search for the damn list that lists all the items. I know I seen it somewhere but I can’t remember where.

ParticipantYou mean the special items? How about this?

ParticipantOkay, there are 50 speical items total in the game.
All hero units have an unique ability to raise all stats evcept for movement by itself temporarily.
In the game, there is a way to gain exp without attack at the cost of 24 MP/48MP.
By using any tactics that requires your unit to give up tactics to others/ the unit itself, use it and target it to the unit itself and you’ll get at least 10 exp per use. I find that tactic really useful for units that are low in level and I use this on Cao Cao all the time and it works fine.
Dian Wei’s twin halbreds are not in this game. You’d get a dual poles instead under the requirement that you finished the first battle of Chi Bi by eliminating everyone, which skips Cao Cao’s Retreat.
Gao Lan is not recruitable in the game.

ParticipantNo, not the special items, you asked me if I had a list of all the regular items you can get from each stage, remember? If not, then I already gave you a complete list on how to get all of the special items.

ParticipantI’ve been collecting as many of those as I can during my third playthrough, but I know there are a few I’ve missed. Does every fort have an item? It seems like in most of the "Defeat so and so" levels the target just sits on the same fort the whole time and I can never check.

ParticipantFound something new: to get the Escape from Chi Bi level, you DON’T need to have Guo Jia die. Just have Cheng Yu be defeated in the Chi Bi battle and you’ll get the option to escape.

ParticipantDoes anyone know who the lesser officers in the Zhang Lu fight are? I assume Yan Pu and Zhang Wei, but their pictures are not on the 3kingdoms.net site.

ParticipantSorry, I can’t remember who there were. How about a screen shot of them? Download a program called NJwin and turn it on while you play the game. That’ll display Chinese and I should be able to figure out the names.
As for Cheng Yu dying in Chibi, really!? I never had him get killed so I honestly didn’t know that. Even the Chinese walkthru never mentioned that.

ParticipantI was a little off there, you just have to have a certain number of units die. It was just Cheng Yu happened to be the last one that died before I got the message. I played the battle again, and the message came up after a different unit died.
For the units I couldn’t figure out, I am certain that the one at Ding Jun and then again two battles later is Wu Lan, since you have him listed in a duel. The two at Han Zhong, I am sure one is Zhang Wei because he has the surname Zhang and that’s the only other Zhang I know of in Zhang Lu’s army. I’m not sure about the other guy, that’s why I just put him as Yan Pu.
There is one Cavalry officer at the two levels before Chengdu that I can’t identify, I’ll have to come back to him.

ParticipantUnfortunately, I have a brand new computer now so I have to start over. Even if I don’t have a new computer, my old saves are nowhere near the Han Zhong stages. I’m busy playing ROTK 11 so I can’t go back to LoCC right now.

ParticipantHey TF, what is this? A low level guide?
April 7, 2007 at 10:06 pm #20882Terranigma Freak
ParticipantHold on, I have to get the language support thing redownloaded in order to see what that’s about.

ParticipantOh, about the generic items.
Damn, the list is too damn long.
The guide you uploaded there is indeed a low level & a few special items guide.
Hard, not very since it’s a low level guide and usually the enemy’s levels are averaged out of your army’s levels.
