As you can see I have been trying to fix the email problem by updating the software. This is not working, it turns out the problem is that our server admin messed up the sendmail function with a server update or is throttling the amount of mail we can send. Either way I have no access to the main server so I cannot fix the problem. The individual that can resolve this is uncooperative in helping us but I will try to bother him to the point he will fix the issue, for now the only problem is the emails won’t be sent when a post is made in a topic you are watching.
phpBB?s Admin Control Panel gives you an option to set up a POP3 email address to use instead of sendmail. Just create a new account under the domain (don’t use one of your favorites?it will eventually accumulate spam) and use it instead. You can probably work around the server problem this way.

Hummm… I tried to get my avatar on the main site, but somehow it just says :
"Error occurred during the moving of the uploaded file."
Can somebody look into this problem please? I want to have my avatar on the main site so that I don’t have to put it back everytime I go on the forum after the main site…

after getting almost 50 emails in few few hours, I set the Emial Notification if someone responds to a thread you posted in option, I turned it off, yet I still get the emails.
lol you gotta do it for each topic, fun huh. thing is once you click that you won’t receive any more notifications for new threads but the old threads you were signed up for stay signed up unless you stop watching each of these threads when you get notifications…eventually you’ll catch up and have them all under not watch
