ParticipantTyping error? I believe that when Liu Yan talks before the battle at Luo he says: "Now you die" There is no period at the end.

Changes:
– Various text changes fixed
– Zhang Song's crazy eye issue
– Jingzhou difficulty increased
– Fun beginning game thing… You now start off with daggers. The price of staffs (flails) has gone up to 200. Damn inflation…

KeymasterDaggers instead of Flails, damn that's evil. K, I'll upload the new version here.

ModeratorIf anyone has a savestate near Jingzhou can you test the difficulty? I should have done a save state for each chapter but didn't :?

ParticipantI can cheat my way to Jingzhou but that way I'll probably be at about level… 50. -.-

ModeratorQuote:I can cheat my way to Jingzhou but that way I'll probably be at about level… 50. -.-Ya that won't help. Guess I'll have to do anther run through (this time using a savestate per chapter).
Where are you at now in the game?

Participantseriously daggers? why give a weapon at all?!?

ModeratorQuote:seriously daggers? why give a weapon at all?!?I tried it out. It's not bad. I like that you have to earn your staff (flails). I might change that first Ax treasure chest to a staff too
And I could double the cost of all weapons in the game
And slow down the experience gains a bit…
…but leave levels 40-50 the same. I hate grinding for levels in Wei. :crown:

KeymasterGrinding for levels in Wei is actually 10x faster in this game. Okay, more like 2x faster (what-with the rebel forces having 3k-4k soldiers instead of 1500-2000 soldiers. Remember, EXP is determined by soldier count.
So if you wanted to 'rig' that throughout the game you could just tone down the HP totals and pimp out their AP / AC (You could do that with STR and INT but then it would give those officers an unrealistic set of stats; it's more believable that they'd have superior weapons / armor).
Speaking of, how do you edit the different Rebel Force sets (Jing Zhou rebel force, Yellow Turban rebel force, etc). Or rather do you know where the different sets are in Hex?
