Remember, EXP is determined by soldier count. That's exactly why I raised the rebel force count in Wei in this one.
Quote:Speaking of, how do you edit the different Rebel Force sets (Jing Zhou rebel force, Yellow Turban rebel force, etc). Or rather do you know where the different sets are in Hex?This post:

ModeratorOK guys. Try this one and start a new game and witness something you haven't seen in a DoaE1 mod before… Let me know what you think. :D

ParticipantHow is it that you could change the location of the castle ? I'm very impressived.

I'm very impressived. It's very very hard to do manually and I'm still sorting out all the details for other parts of the map. Eventually I will post a topic/guide on how to move castles, villages, houses, etc… around. If you were motivated enough you could even redesign the whole world map. But right now it would literally take me months to do that. Right now it's a very tedious job but with this info hopefully a tool can be created to edit the world map (and after that it should be possible to edit towns and caves as well). I could potentially write a tool but I've never written a tool like that before so there would be a learning curve.

ParticipantI see, it's good to know that there are more and more tricks about DoaE unlocked these days. It's a very interesting project you do, I have nothing to reward but cheering you is the only thing I can do, keeping up the good job.
Speaking of writing a tool, I'm sure Niahak could help.

I know how the map system works now so it's just a matter of programming a tool and sorting out additional details on the map (mapping hex to regions).

ModeratorI've certainly thought about modifying maps (at the minimum, it'd be useful for the aborted Sengoku and Gemfire mods), but seeing as I'm no programmer…

Participantlol I gotta tell you this….. you may have noticed
I reset the game sometime during chapter 1 and of course I start in front of Yuan Shao's mom, right? Well I exited the village and I was in the middle of the grass field, where the original Lou Sang used to be. >_>

No I didn't notice that but I can probably fix. Let me check.
EDIT: OK I had missed a spot. It's fixed:

Or maybe even a Gongsun Zan mod starting in the northeast. Or a Ma Teng mod starting in the northwest. Or change the Liu Zhang mod to start in Shu. The possibilities are endless… :D

Participantlol One more thing. Yuan Shao's billetable. So I put him in the billeting as a test, then said I'd take the throne from the Tao Qian dude. lol The seat's still empty and Yuan Shao's in my billeting. :P

I must have accidentally unchecked the box when playing with DoaE editor at some point.
EDIT: What the heck, it says "unbilletable" in the DoaE tool. Let me go try it…
EDIT2: You're right. Let me try to re-do him in the DoaE tool and see if that fixes it.
EDIT3: OK fixed it. Looks like a minor DoaE tool bug. It had him listed as A6 when it should have been A8. After adding him (A8) to the no billeting list in hex it's fixed.
