They see me throwin' fireballs out of my sword, they runnin'.UPDATE #1 @ 2:34 AM EST – I have done A LOT of editing, but some holes still remain. I’ve gotten things done sooner than expected, and some regions are fully done, including the old Yellow Turban (now Dong Zhuo) region. I have found a major issue though. None of the guys you get early on learn tactics. I couldn’t fix that with Lu LingQi, so you’re going to be roughing it for at least one region without any tactics to help. Level building will be IMPORTANT early on. Don’t understand why the tactics flag changed by itself, actually. I’m quite confused :P
I had hoped to have Ding Yuan and Lu LingQi learn tactics so that it wouldn’t be so hard early on, but with my limited abilities, it does not look like that’ll happen. The first tactician you can recruit stands to be Li Ru, recruitable in the Han Zhong position. He gains levels, and will gain tactics as you go with his 230 INT. He will be an invaluable asset to your army until you get Huo Hu, and even then you could still use him as tactician while Huo Hu fights :P

Li Ru is in the opening area in the new ROM. I’ll post the ROM as it is right now later today, but I have some more testing to do on it, plus some more changes to make :)

Bah tactics aren’t really that important til after the first area anyway, although they help.
Look at how little da qiao’s bar is.
