Yeah I got that I’m just a doofus when it comes to Wiki and Faq writing in general. I’d love to write some Der Langrisser faqs just I’m not the best to keep my nose to one game:)

Why get a Wii? It’s basically the same generation as PS2 and there aren’t many games that seem interesting to me (the Virtual Console is nice but so are free emulators / roms, and Opoona looks nice but I’m not going to buy a Wii to play it)
1. If you’re talking about the current games that are out for PS3, then I agree. However, if you’re referring to the current 2008 line-up, I disagree. First of all, I have never seen graphics on 360 or any previous consoles like Uncharted, Gran Turismo, or Killzone 2. Also, MGS4 drives the cell processor to the limit and barely fits on a Blu Ray disc.
2. Well, it has the most RPG’s, so I thought you might’ve wanted to consider getting it. Also, it’s funner to play sports games on it.

Unfortunately I don’t PLAY games for graphics. To me I still play the Avernum and Geneforge series on the PC and love them. Simple 16bit esque graphics seems to suit me better for rpg’s. Newer rpg’s while freaking awesome also seem to just be a chore to play. And yes I’m referring to Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, and Mass Effect. The flashy graphics seem to have drawn away from the main reason I use to play rpg’s, simplicity in terms of not a lot to learn, and story. I can’t harp enough on the story part but Phantasy Star IV, Final Fantasy 4 and 6 were basically the pre-cursors to the amazing rpg era of the playstation and saturn era.
I also love NIS games but there systems are starting to get annoying. I have no need to level up to 1000, to me thats just stupid and pointless. I think why I enjoyed Persona 3 so much was the way it was handled. It wasn’t that difficult a system and stayed fairly close to SMT1 and 2 as well as the first Persona. Anyway sorry for the longwinded rant I’m off to my Baseball Mogul 2k9 league.

To say that Lost Odyssey sucks is to pretty much say FFX sucks. I’m not arguing the point just Lost Odyssey is SSssssoooooo much better than Mass Effect but unfortunately doesn’t offer any alien sex scenes.
No to level up what happens is each enemy has a hidden exp total that you don’t see. So basically you level up behind the scenes and then during a fight you’ll increase your chance to level up based on this. It actually works rather well cause well there’s no need to worry and combat is pretty simple and works for the PSP. Myself I feel the game would have been much better had it been made for the PS2 but thats my personal feelings. Also nothing like leveling up 3 or 4 times in a boss fight:) rather fun actually.
