Lord Yuan Shu
KeymasterWell there are few that compare to Zhao Yun.
And according to this game, Xiahou Mao is rated decently if I remember.

Participant180/87 I think are his stats.
Koei decided to make him as pathetic as Yang Song, and that’s sorta’ what I go by :P

ParticipantLife is on hold at the moment.
But this project will never die. It will be completed. I love it too much to ever abandon it. Right now it is also kind of vying with the release of phpBB 3.0, which I want to roll out to my forums. SimRTK has received its upgrade, and that leaves SoSZ. As for personal projects, Jingzhou and the final release of 2.0 are my next priority.

ParticipantI’ve just reached Yuan Shao’s territory. A villager said that Liu Bei has joined Yuan Shao. I suppose I’ll be facing Yuan Shao, Yuan Shu, Liu Bei and Lu Bu? The thought of that scares me. I reckon I gotta level up quite abit before going to meet them.
Current squad is Cao Pi, both Xiahous, Wang Shuang and Jiang Wei. A pity I can’t get rid of the Xiahous to accomodate Zhang He and Dian Wei.
Can we still proceed after this or have to stop already since Xiande mentioned that this release is only up till Yuan Shao’s territory.

ParticipantYou can proceed, but the parts past that have not been changed, so it might be weird.

KeymasterHe was changing the text in this one I think but not through Niahak’s program, through James’ own hex hacking I think.

I’ve actually done quite a bit of text rewriting in this one as I’ve gone along. This mod is the whole reason why I actually spent the time completing the translation table, figured out the remaining details, and created the online text tool. At first I was doing it totally by hand and that was like chewing on poo-smeared glass.
So it will continue as I originally planned.
That said, I’ve had a real hankering to start working on this again of late, and I’ve spent the better part of this evening plotting out my return to this mod. When I get home I’m going to adjust the level scale, tactics and weapons, then get to work moving officers around and completing Jingzhou, which is going to be one hell of an adventure in this ROM. I may hold off on some scripts for Niahak but there’s plenty of other things to do in the mean time.
If things go well, I might post the new version tonight. :)
(But things might go horribly wrong if people use their old saves).
