Maybe. He would have the soldier advantage…if only Guan could be tactician. But you’re right, with Elixir’s, an Ax, Leather and Bandanna he could probably sneak by that Fan Shui / Hu Lao Guan situation. If you’re going to go the physical route though you might as well use Zhang Fei with his soldier and strength advantage, as least for the first battle against Hua Xiong and Li Su…against Li Ru Zhang Fei would be screwed if you got Ye Huo-ed

Yeah, Zhang Fei is the obvious choice for a battle that doesn’t involve tacticians, but I figured if you’re anywhere near powerful enough to challenge Lu Bu the Hua Xiong fight should be easy to clear with either of them. A little less fuss resurrecting and killing people off.
Ye Huo is a game breaker when trying to brute force your way through…

So I started the 1 person challenge, killing off Zhang Fei and Guan Yu. I beat Zhang Liang just using Lian Huo with Liu Bei. Then I did the same to Ma Yuan Yi.
Then I rest up and go to the Zhang Bao gate, and only a Rebel Force is there. No Zhang Bao. No CYZ. So I’m like okay…then I got to Zhang Jao’s and Zheng Mao / Han Zhong are there, no Zhang Jao.
Even more fucked up, I go to the cave and no brigand is there! Can’t cross the cave I guess!
But then I go to the front gate…and just Zheng Mao is there. Um….
Currently I am stumped at Hua Xiong. Even with Liu Feng having all equipment and 5 Elixir A’s, you can’t do it. I’m gonna have to grind up for Ye huo but even then I’m not sure.
But I just want to continue to see what else is fucked up here…
edit – got by Hua Xiong, but got killed by Lu Bu and Li Ru. Yep, they’re both there.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingHaven’t got by Lu Bu and Li Ru yet. Gonna have a crapload of grinding I think to do before I can beat that level. Likely Guan Yu will be the guy and I’ll have to pray Li Ru doesn’t get a Ye Huo off. Should be okay with only the 20 INT difference between him and Lord Guan.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingI also started the 1 general challenge. None of the yellow scarf battles were abnornal for me. The brigand was in the gave too… I had to grind up to get Ye Hou before I could beat Zhang Jao. I have not tried Hua Xong yet…

Or yet another random glitch triggered by some unknown circumstance.
Well I’ve leveled up until I have 446 soldiers with Zhang Fei. Even with best equipment and five Elixir A’s I can’t even finish off Lu Bu! This is going to require Yan Re which is an extreme amount of leveling for this early in the game.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingHua Xiong stomped me at level 9. I tried with with Zhang Fei and Mi Zhe. It’s hard to build up when you’re only getting 7 exp point for each field batlle.
Just built up to level 10, only 500 more points until level 11. Grrr….
Ya it sucks having to build up to defeat Hua Xiong when you have to fight Yellow Turban type enemies.
The one man challenge is impossible. Chen Deng and Mi Zhe don’t even learn Tong Xian. Not sure if they learn Yan Re but I’m not sure I want to grind forever to find out. Maybe I should try though because I could attempt to use a physical character like Zhang Fei or Guan Yu too. Still this is a ridiculous amount of grinding but we’ll see.
Ya Zhang Fei with 512 soldiers and an Ax had no shot of even defeating Lu Bu. Got him to about 150. Problem is I do a decent amount of damage and then using the 5 Elixir A’s really does not do much for me, only puts me at 250 or so HP at best which is then whittled down quickly by Lu Bu and those stupid rebel forces

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingWell I reached level 14 and got Yan Re with Mi Zhe and Chen Deng. Used Chen Deng and Yan Re-ed the Rebel Forces and Lu Bu to death. Elixir A’s are needed and obviously if Li Ru gets a Ye Huo off on Chen Deng you’re fucked.
Now I can get Huo Hu or Li Ru. Should be able to make some significant progress in the one-man journey with Yan Re at my side already :)
Yea this is now Huo Hu’s solo journey to defeat Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu alone at Luo Yang :) huohu huohu huohu huohu

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingOk Huo Hu couldn’t do it. Li Ru though just took out Luo Yang and Chang An by himself with Yan Re and Tong Xian :)
Stuck at Nan Yang. The soldier count of Yuan Shu Lu Fan Yuan Yin Lu Bu is too vast for me at level 15. More grinding needed :)
