ModeratorTook a hit, my ally died, then the battle went to the main map screen and my sprites disappeared, battle music stopped, and I could walk around the world map!

ModeratorAre you using "Destiny of an Emperor (U).nes"? That's the one the patch is built off of. It's the version on the ROMs page here. I'm not seeing any of those problems so far. I just patched stock DoaE too.
EDIT: Whoops I just had the critical hit problem. OK there's something to look at…
EDIT2: OK ran into some tactic problems too. Back to the drawing board…

ModeratorAre you using "Destiny of an Emperor (U).nes"? That's the one the patch is built off of. It's the version on the ROMs page here.

ModeratorDid you adjust TP gains? Thats the first thing I can think of, maybe 1 of the bytes was mistyped.
Also, at some point does the tactic table EXPAND? currently it is only large enough to accomodate 6 tactics.
Also, in the menu, is it supposed to say SOLDIER or SOLDIERS with an S

ModeratorInteresting little tid-bit I also found. If I fight the castle north of Xu Zhou without encountering ANY battles, the rebels have 40,000 troops! :cactuar:

But…even if that castle is using chapter 0 it should be using Wei rebel force counts. Hmm…
Seems that all these fixes together create some interesting bugs. But we'll get it figured out.

ModeratorWhen using the "report" function and viewing officer stats, I only see 6 tactics, even in the battle menu there is 8
