ParticipantHuo Hu is a pretty ballin’ place, dawgs.
You have to remember, though; the very thing that makes you a nerd is that your enthusiasms are totally unrelatable and non-marketable to most of the world. For example, anime and celibacy. - Seanbaby

ParticipantI’ve gotten close, but I haven’t really seriously played it since I was 11. However, I did take out Nick (or was it Rick) Bruiser in Super Punch-Out in about 8 seconds before.
Reminds me, I recently purchased the Invincible Punch in GOD HAND, it’s pretty sweet. It’s unblockable and does 100 damage, it’s drawback is a 5 or so second long charge time. However, when you get hit while charging it up, you just take the damage and continue with your attack, pretty FLEXX unless you’re near-death.

ParticipantAll KOEI games is much cleaner, IMO. Maybe they could be organized into genre rather than company…

ParticipantHmm, maybe it’s more like:
:) "Hey guys, online petition!"
 "I don’t get paid enough for this shit"

ParticipantWasn’t there a scene where Gafgarion was called "Gafgarog" or something?

this topic is so incredible
It sure is. If I had ROM hacking talent, I’d edit a character in DoaE2 to be Huo Hu, that would be pretty FLEXX.

ParticipantI’d like to try the Persona again, my sister actually owned it and traded it in years ago (like her other ballin gaymes such as Thousand Arms).
Still, this games is pretty good. However, I think Wizardry did a better job with first-person mazes.

ParticipantI’ve also noticed that whenever I log into the mainpage, my avatar there overrides my current avatar on the forum.

ParticipantI’d compare the dodging to punch out, but certain times it’d be like fighting two Mike Tysons at once.

why would you not know what to do in SMT? do they not tell you where to go or anything?
Well, it’s a bit better than a Phantasy Star game, because I know what I need to do, however, I’ve been everywhere available and the only place I could think about going would probably involve me grinding up 10-20 levels before I could stand a chance against the random encounters.
Etrian Odyssey sounds like a ballin gayme, too bad I don’t have rich parents to get me a DS to play it with.

ParticipantFrom what he(sarsamis) has said about Bleu Dargon so far, it actually seems like a somewhat decent game. Primarily for that one bell thing he was talking about that draws in all the enemies to you at once.
I was actually playing FF5 a few weeks ago, as well as FFT and got about halfway through them. I think Wizardry and AD&D: Pool of Radiance might be good to play later. However, I’m sticking with Shin Megami Tensei, until I get too frustrated at not knowing what to do.

ParticipantIs there, like, some source that has all the changes they made to it?
I’m dying to know if they fixed Blade Grasp.

ParticipantStarted playing this last night and it was fairly satisfying. It reminds me quite a bit of Persona, well, from what little I saw of Persona anyways.

ParticipantIt was more so that I wasn’t in the mood for it. I remember being, like, 4-9 and playing it all the time. I think I might give Zelda II a shot later.
