KeymasterI noticed an issue with posting link/images, etc. When you paste the link the box that appears with the image for example, it automatically pastes your link at the bottom of the page. Any way to have this paste wherever the cursor is currently at on the page?
Not the greatest plugin for the toolbar but it seems to work at least. Gave it a quick hack today to address this issue. Do a hard refresh of the site to get the new javascript and give it a try. Images, Youtube, and Smilies should now paste in where the cursor is (or at the end of selected text).
New server is physically built and seems in good working order upon initial testing. Need time now to setup the software and then move everything over. :1up:

Keymastercurrently have full root access so we can edit all the configs or change the software etc.
whatever we do, things seem to work fine for short bursts and then fail horribly…

Keymasterdoesn’t make ya sick or hurt yours
Would you grant permission to quote this on my portfolio?
This is probably the best endorsement my design work has ever received.
“baby poop” or “clown barf”
Maybe I should look into a patent for that stunning tone.
~ baby poop or clown barf #404029 ~
Given the drastic difference between these two, I can only conclude that I must be doing something right.

KeymasterIt’s usable unlike the last one. Is there a link to see all the themes available?
I spent a sleepless evening matching colors with the main site’s theme, and finding all the css to override.
If you want something colored differently take a vote and let me know.
For anyone that wants to get creative, all the color changes can be found here:
http://www.lordyuanshu.com/wp-content/themes/parallelus-unite/css/forum.css
Feel free to make a new version of that file and share it with us.
Use your browser debugger to test changes.

KeymasterDragonAtma, I fail to see how putting up an ad to encourage the use of good internet browsers is being a jerk. If you don't want to use FireFox then I still think you should use Chrome, some other Mozilla-based browser, Safari, or even Opera. If you want to use IE7 nothing is gonna be broken, it just looks/degrades worse, and ultimately you're only hurting yourself, so I could care less. I've gone to far too great of lengths to make sure the site works in IE5.5+ Niahak is completely correct about what has to be done in anything past trivial CSS layouts.
Past that, I choose to support free, open-sourced projects like the ones that run this entire website. From what I've seen since starting to administrate websites, Internet Explorer is dying, and probably only still popular because it comes packaged with Windows OSes. With the advent of Google Chrome OS next year, it would be nice to see M$ just fade away, or at least change its business practices/models to better support its community/users/self by open-sourcing its projects. So again, I don't really care what you want to do, but I do care about providing the less-informed with awareness of their options :?

KeymasterDragonAtma, I put up the FireFox button, because I want the 40% of this site's users that still stick with Internet Explorer, to realize there are much better options. The site looks/works far better in non-IE browsers. What's your objection? :poison: We honestly don't even plan on getting anything back from the FF ad campaign, but if even 5-10% of LYS users switch away from IE, it's worth the pixel space.

KeymasterGlad to see the familiar faces back on the scene :)
I'll be updating this forum again soon (probably in the next week), as bbPress releases a 1.0 stable version. I'm also starting to get involved with helping code for the bbPress community (after seeing how easy it can be with WordPress), so if anything seems broken, please let me know :moogle:

KeymasterYou should be able to edit old posts now. I changed the number of minutes you can edit a post after posting to 999999999. :D I’m not really sure why a bunch of James’ posts got gimped but I’ll try and revive them from my db backups as I find time… :cactuar:

KeymasterExcellent. Thank you! Much easier to read now. :D
Indeed, ask and ye shall receive. LYS probably wouldn’t even be around without all you regulars so we take all your opinions into careful consideration. Strange as it may sound, we actually care about all the crazies that frequent this forum.
Love & Peace,
